How our taco bar hire works in Curbridge

You choose the fillings with us, perhaps carnitas, chicken tinga or birria, plus a vegan choice such as spiced mushroom or black bean and sweet potato. We serve pickled onions and toppings, a build-your-own taco bar and fresh salsas, and it suits back-garden gatherings and barn parties.

Near Curbridge, a marquee or barn makes a good home for a taco bar. We set up the station and our team runs it; tell us about access and parking. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so there are no surprises on arrival.

Before you choose a spot

Every venue is different, so we’ll ask about yours when you get in touch. Generally, we look for:

  • A sheltered spot if we are serving outside
  • Space for a line of guests at the bar
  • The venue’s agreement for the taco bar and our vehicle

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly.

The process

The truck or trailer needs a level, firm spot with access to drive in, with power and water arrangements agreed beforehand. A photo of the space helps. A December taco bar in Curbridge will be in the dark from about 3:55pm, so an indoor spot or a well-lit station works best. At midsummer, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:30pm.

  1. Send us your date, where the taco bar will go, numbers and dietary needs.
  2. You get a suggested taco-bar spread and a quote.
  3. Together we fix the spot for the taco bar and a nearby place for our vehicle.
  4. On the day our staff lay out the bar and keep it stocked while guests build their tacos.
  5. When service finishes, we clear the table and pack the vehicle.

How to prepare

  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough

Planning help

What taco bar hire costs

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • How many staff you need
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • How many guests we are serving

Got a budget? Let us know, and we will suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.

Getting an accurate quote

To check availability and price, we need:

  • The address or venue name
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • How we drive in and where we can park

A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: the venue, the timings, food or drinks or both, and the access. When you are ready, send a quick message through our quote form.

Should I do it myself?

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Nearly every event has some special diets. To plan for them:

  • Confirm any allergies to us by email
  • Ask the venue where we can park to unload
  • Ask guests with severe allergies to contact us before the day
  • Choose at least one vegan filling

Indoors or under cover, the bar carries on whatever the weather, so plan somewhere sheltered if you can.

Extra salsas, from mild to hot, let guests choose their own heat.

FAQs for Curbridge

How far is Curbridge from central London?

It is about 64 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

We’re having a ceremony at Church of St John the Baptist: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Do you stay to run the taco bar?

The taco bar is served from a table or station by our staff, so you don’t need helpers. When service ends, we clear it away.

What happens if it rains?

Rain doesn’t normally stop service from the truck or trailer. It is worth planning a covered area for guests, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

Do you cook on site?

We cook to order in our truck or trailer kitchen, or serve from a taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

Do you have vegan options?

Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Tell us your numbers when you ask for a quote.

How does taco bar hire work?

We set out warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings on a serving table, and each guest builds their own. Our staff keep it hot and topped up.

Do you take everything away?

We pack down and tidy our own area after service. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
