Step by step

Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. Winter evenings in Curdridge close in by about 4:00pm, so set the station up where the lighting is good. In late June, the light holds until around 9:20pm.

  1. Start with the essentials: the date, venue, headcount and diets.
  2. We plan the fillings and toppings with you and quote for them.
  3. We agree where the table goes and where our vehicle can unload.
  4. On the day our staff lay out the bar and keep it stocked while guests build their tacos.
  5. After the last tacos, we clear the station away.

FAQs for Curdridge

We’re having a ceremony at Church of St Peter: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Is Curdridge close to London?

It’s about 64 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Is a taco bar good for vegans and gluten-free guests?

There are vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free choices, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests. Every dish has allergen information.

Do you provide allergen information for each dish?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, with allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we cannot promise anything is completely allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

What access do you need?

Access and level ground matter most: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. Send us a picture and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

Can you cater in a back garden?

Yes, as long as there’s access and a level, firm spot. Send us a photo of the access and the space.

Is the taco bar staffed?

We set up and stay to keep the bar hot and stocked through service.

Do you take everything away?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Tell us the venue’s rules on waste and clearing up and we will talk it through.

Why choose taco bar hire in Curdridge?

Vegans, vegetarians and gluten-free guests eat from the same table, since corn tortillas and vegan fillings sit with everything else.

A truck or trailer works for big and small events alike. Common bookings include:

  • Team lunches
  • Leaving dos
  • Christenings and family parties
  • Team socials

If you are celebrating after a service at a church like Church of St Peter, a hall close by could host a staffed taco bar, with the venue’s permission.

How to compare caterers

Can I do a taco night myself?

Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Contact us for a quote to compare.

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles allergen information for you.

Planning for every diet

Mixed diets are straightforward to plan for, because guests can choose what suits them. Here are a few tips for planning:

  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Make sure guests have somewhere to sit
  • Ensure one filling is vegan
  • Put allergies in writing for us

We get there early enough to unload, lay out the table and heat everything through.

Loaded nachos make a good starter while the bar is set up.

How we price taco bar hire

Every event is priced individually, and the price depends on a few things:

  • How long we are needed on site
  • How many staff you need
  • Food, drinks or both
  • Guest numbers

What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.

Getting an accurate quote

We can quote more accurately with a few details. Here’s what to include:

  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • What you’d like on the menu
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • What power and water the site has

Getting a quote is simple: share your date, venue, numbers and diets. We will send you a clear quote and a suggested menu.

Comparing your options

Pizza is a safe choice, but a taco bar gives guests more say over what they eat. Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

Why book with us

  • Access, space and power checked in advance
  • Menus chosen with you
  • Fast service, even with a queue
  • Every guest catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included

See how we price or the cost guide.

Space, access and the venue

We will be honest if a space won’t work, and help find another spot. What matters most:

  • The venue’s agreement for the taco bar and our vehicle
  • A flat spot for the taco-bar station
  • Room for the bar alongside the vehicle, if booked together

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly.
