Taco bar hire in Fords Farm, served fresh

Fillings are agreed with you, perhaps carnitas, chicken tinga or birria, plus a vegan choice such as spiced mushroom or black bean and sweet potato. Popular choices include burrito bowls, guacamole and pickled onions and toppings, which works well for marquee parties and team socials.

A place like Fords Farm may have a hall or a club nearby if your garden is small; the station needs a level surface, the venue’s permission and somewhere to unload. We cater for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests, and we give allergen information for every dish.

Comparing your options

A plated wedding breakfast needs a kitchen, waiting staff and fixed courses. A taco bar needs a serving spot, somewhere close to unload and the venue’s agreement, and power and water are confirmed with each booking. Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. Your quote confirms the full price.

FAQs for Fords Farm

How far is Fords Farm from London?

Roughly 40 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.

We’re having a ceremony at St Matthew's: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

Do you do a taco bar?

Yes, a taco bar is one of our options. Tell us about your space and numbers and we will recommend how to serve.

Can you do dairy-free food?

Yes, we can. Let us know your dairy-free numbers, and we’ll plan the menu around them.

Do you clear up afterwards?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Let us know the venue’s rules on waste and we’ll confirm the arrangements with your quote.

How many guests can you serve?

It depends on the menu and how long service runs, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. Tell us your numbers and we will advise.

Do you have options for kids?

Yes, children are easy to plan for. Let us know numbers and ages, and we will plan the menu with them in mind.

Can the taco bar cater for special diets?

We plan gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan choices, with corn tortillas for gluten-free guests. Every dish has allergen information.

What we need at the venue

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but there are a few things to check:

  • Space beside the truck or trailer if you are booking both
  • Room for guests to queue along the table
  • Space for a serving table on level ground

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly.

Menu ideas

  • Tortilla chips
  • Salsas and guacamole
  • Pickled onions and toppings
  • Vegan fillings
  • Two to four fillings

The process

Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we’ll help you choose a spot with room for a queue. Rain doesn’t usually stop us serving, but guests will need somewhere covered. Around midsummer it stays light in Fords Farm until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:10pm, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. In December it is dark by about 3:55pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.

  1. Contact us with your date and headcount.
  2. We plan fillings and toppings around your guests’ diets.
  3. Nearer the date, we confirm timings and the serving spot.
  4. The bar opens at the agreed time.
  5. Once service is over, we pack away.

How to prepare

  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Give us a contact for the day
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely

DIY taco night or a caterer?

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
