Taco bar hire in Heron Quays
Taco bar hire in Heron Quays, from our food truck or trailer
We can serve the taco bar next to the truck or trailer, or as a separate station. If the truck cannot get to the spot, we park close by, unload and carry the bar in, with the venue’s agreement. It suits anniversary parties and wedding day food, serving warm corn and flour tortillas, pickled onions and toppings and a build-your-own taco bar.
In a London neighbourhood like Heron Quays, a taco bar is handy when the truck can’t reach the garden or the room. Our staff set up a serving station on a table, and guests build their own tacos. We still need to park and unload close by, so tell us about loading bays, permits or a parking suspension. All of Greater London is inside the ULEZ. You will know what’s included before booking: the menu, the service time and any extras you choose.

Planning for every diet
A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Try these:
- Agree the serving spot with your venue early
- Flag any guest with coeliac disease
- Have anyone with a severe allergy speak to us first
- Fit the bar into your running order
After the last plate, we take the bar down, then load our vehicle.
For larger groups, ask about a second serving point, quoted for your event.
Prices and what affects them
Pricing is straightforward once we know the basics:
- How long we’re needed on site
- Food, drinks or both
- Distance and access to the venue
- Guest numbers
Pricing depends on the event. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Your quote sets it all out.
What we need to know
To speed things up, tell us:
- A photo of the space, if it’s a garden or field
- Diets and allergies you know about
- Gate widths, slopes and the ground
- The date and time of the event
We quote for each event separately, so the price fits what you actually want. To ask for one, tell us about it on our contact page.
How the day works
Service is quick and friendly: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. Afterwards we clear our area. Winter evenings in Heron Quays close in by about 3:55pm, so an indoor spot or a well-lit station works best. At midsummer, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:20pm.
- Send us the date, venue and numbers.
- Together we choose what goes on the bar.
- The venue confirms where the bar goes and where we park.
- Our staff set out the bar and guests build their own tacos.
- We clear the bar away after service.
Preparing for the day
- Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
- Give us your final numbers and diets
- Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
How to get a price
The quickest way to a quote is to tell us about it on our contact page. Give us the details of your event, and we’ll put together a menu and price.
Planning help
Should I do it myself?
Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.
DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.
Heron Quays: your questions answered
We’re having a ceremony at St Peter's Church: can you cater afterwards?
Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Tell us where the reception will be.
What about parking in Heron Quays?
That depends on the street. A drive, a courtyard or a bay suspended by the council can all work, so tell us what’s outside your venue. The ULEZ covers all of Greater London.
Can you cater for guests who avoid dairy?
We can. Dairy-free options are part of our menus.
Can guests build tacos at a wedding breakfast?
It can serve the wedding meal, the evening or both. We agree the timings with your venue, and guests build their own plates.
Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?
We can. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from.
How do you handle dietary needs at the taco bar?
We plan vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free choices, with corn tortillas for gluten-free guests. Allergen information is available for every dish.
What guest numbers do you cater for?
That depends on your timings and the event. As a guide, our bookings usually fall around 50 to 400 guests, so tell us your numbers.
What’s on the menu?
Every menu is agreed with you. Fillings might include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. Our sample menu has more ideas.
For planners, venues and organisers
If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.
Throwing a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about access, and we will tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

Is taco bar hire right for your event?
Plated meals depend on a kitchen and a team of waiting staff. A taco bar needs a serving spot, somewhere close to unload and the venue’s agreement, with power and water confirmed when you book. When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we will set out what’s included.
