How our taco bar hire works in Hyde End
The bar can stand beside our truck or trailer, or on its own. If the truck cannot get to the spot, we park close by, unload and carry the bar in, as long as the venue agrees. At barn and marquee parties and leaving and retirement parties, we’ll put together a menu of pickled onions and toppings, warm corn and flour tortillas and fresh salsas.
Near Hyde End, a taco bar next to the truck in a field or garden works well. Let us know about the gate, the ground and the route in, and we will confirm power and water with you. You can book food, drinks or both, so one caterer can cover more of the day.

Hyde End: your questions answered
Will you travel to a small place like Hyde End?
Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.
What’s the nearest station to Hyde End for guests?
Guests can use Midgham station, about 2.1 miles north-east of Hyde End.
How spicy is the food?
It’s up to you: we can keep the main dishes mild, with hotter salsas served separately. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.
What happens if it rains?
Rain doesn’t typically stop service from the truck or trailer. It is worth planning a covered area for guests, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.
Do you do parties at home?
Yes, if the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes.
Can you do gluten-free food?
Yes, we offer gluten-free options, made with corn tortillas. Tell us about any coeliac guests before the event so we can explain how we prepare their food. See are corn tortillas gluten-free?
What does taco bar hire cost?
We quote for each event, based on what you actually need. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas and we will reply with a quote.
When should we book?
As soon as you have a date. Popular dates go first, so it pays to ask early.
How the day works
We arrive in good time before service, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. Evenings in Hyde End stay light until about 9:25pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:10pm. After dusk, lights over the station help guests build their tacos.
- Tell us the date, the venue, how many guests and any diets.
- You get a suggested taco-bar spread and a quote.
- We agree where the table goes and where our vehicle can unload.
- Our staff set up the station, keep the fillings hot and top up the bar through service.
- After the last tacos, we clear the station away.
