Taco bar hire for your event in Little Brickhill

The toppings are where guests get creative: lime wedges, coriander, pickled onions, cheese and crema, depending on the menu you choose. We serve pickled onions and toppings, guacamole and warm corn and flour tortillas, which works well for christenings and family parties and barn parties.

For a rural spot like Little Brickhill, a taco bar beside the truck in a field or garden is a simple set-up. Let us know about the gate, the ground and the route in, and we will confirm power and water with you. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

Occasions we cater for in Little Brickhill

You are not limited to places a truck can park, such as a courtyard, a barn or a hall, with the venue’s agreement.

We can help if you are planning any of the following:

  • Summer garden parties
  • Evening wedding receptions
  • Team socials
  • Family get-togethers

Before you plan a taco bar in Waterhall Park, find out who manages it, as catering and unloading there both need their agreement.

What to look for in a quote

  • How late numbers can change
  • How dietary needs and allergies are handled
  • Who provides plates and napkins
  • What the price includes, item by item

How to compare caterers

Should I do it myself?

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles allergen information for you.

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: see how many tacos per person. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Space, access and the venue

The route in matters as much as the spot itself. We look for:

  • A parking or loading spot near the serving area
  • Space for a line of guests at the bar
  • The venue’s agreement for the taco bar and our vehicle

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

Menu ideas

  • Two to four fillings
  • Pickled onions and toppings
  • Salsas and guacamole
  • Tortilla chips
  • Corn and flour tortillas
  • Vegan fillings

How it works

From set-up to service, we look after everything you’ve booked from us, so you can enjoy your event. In Little Brickhill, the sun sets at about 9:25pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.

  1. Tell us about your event and your guests.
  2. You get a suggested taco-bar menu and a quote.
  3. We check power, water and access with your venue.
  4. We set up the station and keep everything hot.
  5. Afterwards, we pack down and leave the area tidy.

Before we arrive

  • Let us know who to talk to on the day
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches

Dietary needs and planning tips

Most events have a mix of diets. To plan for them:

  • Collect dietary needs with your replies
  • Let us know about anyone who is coeliac
  • Have tables and seats ready for guests to eat at
  • Check where our vehicle can unload

We get there early enough to unload, lay out the table and heat everything through.

Add burrito bowls for guests who’d rather skip tortillas.

How we price taco bar hire

Each event is quoted on its own, based on a few main things:

  • The menu you choose
  • The number of people
  • Timings and hours
  • Food, drinks or both

The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, plus any add-ons and the location. We quote for each event individually.

What we need to know

The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Please include:

  • The address or venue name
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • A photo of the space, if it’s a garden or field
  • The date and time of the event

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, plus any dietary needs, and we’ll reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. Just tell us about it on our contact page.
