Book taco bar hire in Marsh Green

Should I do it myself?

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

How our taco bar hire works in Marsh Green

Truck and trailer bookings typically suit around 50 to 400 guests, while smaller parties are quoted case by case. Tell us your numbers and we’ll plan the taco bar around them. On the menu are fresh salsas, guacamole and burrito bowls, which works well for evening wedding receptions and family celebrations.

In a hamlet or village like Marsh Green, a barn or marquee can shelter a taco bar from the weather. Our staff set up the station and run it through service. We serve from the hatch of our food truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

Marsh Green: your questions answered

Do you cater in villages like Marsh Green?

Yes, we cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Tell us about lanes, gates, ground and parking.

Could you set up a taco bar in a hall near Marsh Green?

Yes, with the venue’s permission. Tell us about the parking, the doors and the space for the station.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Tell us your numbers when you ask for a quote, and we’ll keep their options separate.

Who clears up?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Tell us the venue’s rules on waste and clearing up and we will confirm the arrangements with your quote.

Can guests build their own tacos?

We can. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from. Read our taco bar guide.

Do you stay to run the taco bar?

Our staff set up the bar, keep the fillings hot and top up the dishes through service.

Is a taco bar suitable for a big group?

It depends on the event and the timings. As a guide, our bookings generally fall around 50 to 400 guests.

How does a taco bar work?

We set out warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings on a serving table, and guests build their own tacos. We stay to keep everything hot and stocked.

About the menu

Warm tortillas

Tortillas are the base of the bar. We warm them as the bar needs them.

Hot fillings

A few fillings give guests plenty of choice, with at least one vegan. You choose them with us.

Step by step

Serving is quick: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. Afterwards we clear our area. In Marsh Green, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so an outdoor taco bar in summer is usually served in daylight. For winter events, dark by about 3:55pm, plan good lighting over the station.

  1. Send us the date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we choose what goes on the bar.
  3. We confirm the table spot and where we’ll unload.
  4. On the day, guests help themselves while we keep the bar stocked.
  5. We clear the bar away after service.

Before we arrive

  • Share the running order, including any speeches
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park

Why choose taco bar hire in Marsh Green?

The difference between a taco bar and truck service is who builds the taco. At the hatch, we make each order; at the bar, guests build their own. A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, because it needs no venue kitchen. Ask us for a quote.

Prices and what affects them

  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • What’s on the menu
  • Plates, napkins and cutlery
