Taco bar hire in Nash Street, from our truck or trailer

A taco bar puts the whole spread on one table: warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings. Each guest takes a plate and fills it their way. Popular choices include a build-your-own taco bar, slow-cooked fillings kept hot and warm corn and flour tortillas, which works well for anniversary parties and garden parties.

For a rural spot like Nash Street, a taco bar beside the truck in a field or garden is a simple set-up. Tell us about gates, ground and the distance from the lane, and we confirm power and water arrangements before the day. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included, and we give allergen information for every dish.

Your questions about taco bar hire in Nash Street

We’re having a ceremony at Church of St Mildred: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Send us the reception address.

How far is Nash Street from London?

It’s about 21 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

What’s on the menu?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings could include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria and vegan options such as spiced mushrooms or black beans. See our menu for ideas.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

Yes, gluten-free options are available, using corn tortillas. Tell us about any coeliac guests before the event so we can talk through how their food is prepared.

Is a taco bar suitable for a big group?

It depends on the event and the timings. As a guide, our bookings normally fall around 50 to 400 guests.

Where do you cater?

We cover London and the South East, including Kent. See all areas.

Do you come to Nash Street?

We do. Nash Street is one of the places we cover. Tell us your date and we’ll check availability.

Can you plan for allergies?

Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, with allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we can’t promise a dish is allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

Comparing your options

Next to a hog roast or carvery, a taco bar caters for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free guests from one table. Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

  • The venue’s agreement for the taco bar and our vehicle
  • Room for the bar alongside the vehicle, if booked together

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

How it works

Your timings come first. If speeches run late or the photos take longer, let us know and we will adjust where we can. In Nash Street, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:00pm in late September, so an outdoor taco bar in summer is generally served in daylight. For winter events, dark by about 3:50pm, plan good lighting over the station.

  1. Begin with the date and headcount.
  2. We agree a menu that covers every diet.
  3. We fix timings with you and the venue.
  4. Service starts when your running order says.
  5. Once service is over, we pack away.

Getting ready for the day

What’s on the menu

Hot fillings

Slow-cooked fillings kept hot on the bar, perhaps chicken tinga, birria or carnitas.

Salsas

A row of salsas, mild to hot, made for your event.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label anything containing allergens.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.
