Taco bar hire in North Fareham, from our food truck or trailer

With a taco bar, everything is laid out in one place: warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings. Guests pick up a plate and build their own. It suits family celebrations and barn and marquee parties, serving fresh salsas, warm corn and flour tortillas and slow-cooked fillings kept hot.

Somewhere as small as North Fareham, a garden, barn or hall can host a taco bar. If the truck cannot get close, we can set the station up nearer your guests, as long as we can unload within a short walk. The process

We get there well before you want to serve, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. In North Fareham, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:10pm in late September, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. In December it is dark by about 4:00pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.

  1. Share a few details about the event.
  2. You get a suggested taco-bar menu and a quote.
  3. We check power, water and access with your venue.
  4. We set up the station and keep everything hot.
  5. Afterwards, we pack down and leave the area tidy.

Before we arrive

  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer

Planning help

Can I do a taco night myself?

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

Taco bar hire in North Fareham: local tips

North Fareham is about 1 mile north-east of Fareham, in Hampshire. Tell us where your event in North Fareham will be, and we will plan the journey and set-up before the day. We serve in 683 places across Hampshire, from the larger towns to small villages, wherever the truck or trailer can get in. We cater right across the region, from North Fareham to Portsmouth (about 6 miles away).

When the service is at a church such as Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, the taco bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church. North Fareham is within about 6 miles of the sea, so for a seaside taco bar we plan around the wind. A sheltered spot for the station helps, and seafront sites normally need permission.

Questions from North Fareham

Could you set up a taco bar in a hall near North Fareham?

We can, as long as the venue agrees. The station needs room for a queue, and we need to park and unload close to the door.

Which station should guests use for North Fareham?

Fareham station, about 1.3 miles south-west of the centre.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

Yes, gluten-free options are available, using corn tortillas. Tell us about any coeliac guests before the event so we can talk through how their food is prepared.

Is the taco bar staffed?

Our staff set up the bar, keep the fillings hot and top up the dishes through service.

How long do you serve for?

We arrive in good time to set up before service. Serving times are agreed with you in advance, along with pack-down.

What if a vehicle can’t reach the serving spot?

The bar can stand on its own, away from the truck or trailer. We still need to park our vehicle nearby to unload, and the venue’s agreement.

What access do you need?

Access and level ground matter most: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. Send us a photo and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

What’s on the menu?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings might include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. Our sample menu has more ideas.
