About our taco bar hire in Pagham

Toppings make the bar: lime wedges, coriander, pickled onions, cheese and crema, agreed with you in advance. It works well for anniversary parties and marquee parties, with slow-cooked fillings kept hot, warm corn and flour tortillas and burrito bowls.

For a rural spot like Pagham, a taco bar beside the truck in a field or garden is a simple set-up. Let us know about the gate, the ground and the route in, and we confirm power and water arrangements before the day. You can book food, drinks or both, so one caterer can cover more of the day.

Pagham questions

Which station is closest to Pagham?

Guests can use Bognor Regis station, about 3.2 miles north-east of Pagham.

Do you set up taco bars indoors in places like Pagham?

Yes, with the venue’s permission. We need a short route from where we park to the room, and space for the station and a queue.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we check every dish and give allergen information.

How does a taco bar work?

Each guest builds tacos from the fillings, salsas and toppings laid out. We run the bar from set-up to pack-down.

How much space do you need?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, plus the venue’s permission. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.

Where do you cater?

We cater across London and the South East, including West Sussex. See all areas.

How big an event can you cater?

It depends on the menu and how long service runs, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. Tell us your numbers and we will advise.

Do you cater in Pagham?

Yes. We cater across London and the South East, and Pagham is within our area and the rest of West Sussex. For a quote, tell us about it on our contact page.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Most events have a mix of diets. To plan for them:

  • Count children separately
  • Send us allergy details in writing
  • Flag any guest with coeliac disease
  • Confirm a loading spot close to the bar

If speeches or timings run over, we keep the fillings hot and start when you’re ready.

Add burrito bowls for guests who’d rather skip tortillas.

The menu, item by item

Salsas

Guests add as much heat as they like.

Warm tortillas

Corn and flour tortillas, warmed through in batches. The corn ones suit gluten-free guests.

Planning the serving area

We’ll be honest if a space won’t work, and suggest an alternative. What matters most:

  • A clear area in front of the station
  • Cover overhead if the bar is outdoors
  • Somewhere close by for our vehicle to park and unload

If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think.

What we offer

  • Vegan fillings
  • Salsas and guacamole
  • Corn and flour tortillas
  • Two to four fillings
  • Tortilla chips
  • Pickled onions and toppings

How it works

Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we will help you choose a spot with room for a queue. We can serve in the rain, but guests will need somewhere covered. Daylight in Pagham runs to about 8:50pm in late May and 7:05pm in late September. If the taco bar is outdoors and runs later, tell us what lighting the venue has.

  1. Tell us about your event and your guests.
  2. We send a sample spread and a quote.
  3. We check power, water and access with your venue.
  4. We set up the station and keep everything hot.
  5. Afterwards, we pack down and leave the area tidy.

Getting ready for the day

  • Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer
  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Share the running order, including any speeches

Planning help

For planners, venues and organisers

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.

Is taco bar hire right for your event?

Compared with a hog roast or carvery, a taco bar caters for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free guests from one table. Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so tell us what you have in mind. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.
