Taco bar hire in Rainham

Taco bar hire in Rainham, from our truck or trailer

Toppings make the bar: pickled onions, coriander, lime, shredded lettuce and cheese, agreed with you in advance. For birthday celebrations and engagement parties, we can serve burrito bowls, pickled onions and toppings and slow-cooked fillings kept hot for your guests.

London gardens are often reached only through the house, and many venues in Rainham have no vehicle access to the room. A taco bar station can be set up away from the truck, with the venue’s agreement, and we need a short, clear route from where we unload. Guests are served from our food truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

Rainham: your questions answered

Is it possible to have you in Wildspace Conservation Park?

Only if the landowner, often the council, allows it. Check with them, and we will provide what they ask for from us.

Our venue in Rainham has no vehicle access: can we still have a taco bar?

Normally, if the venue agrees to a staffed station. We still need somewhere close by to unload, and in London that may mean a loading bay or a parking suspension.

Do you take everything away?

We pack down and tidy our own area after service. For anything beyond that, such as guests’ tables, ask us.

Do you cater in Rainham?

Yes. We cater across London and the South East, including Rainham and the rest of Greater London. For a quote, send a quick message through our quote form.

Do you have gluten-free options?

Yes, gluten-free options are available, using corn tortillas. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can explain how we prepare their food.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

It depends on the menu and how long service runs, but our truck and trailer service typically suits around 50 to 400 guests. For anything outside that, ask us.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

That’s confirmed with each quote. Let us know what the venue supplies and we’ll talk it through.

Do you give allergen information?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, with allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we cannot promise anything is completely allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

How it works

A typical event goes like this: we arrive and set up, we open the hatch when you are ready, and we serve your guests fresh until service ends. From late May to late September, sunset in Rainham moves from about 8:50pm to 7:05pm. If the taco bar is outdoors and runs later, tell us what lighting the venue has.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, how many guests and any diets.
  2. You get a suggested taco-bar spread and a quote.
  3. We agree where the table goes and where our vehicle can unload.
  4. Our staff set up the station, keep the fillings hot and top up the bar through service.
  5. After the last tacos, we clear the station away.

Planning help

Planning the serving area

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but a few things matter:

  • Space beside the truck or trailer if you’re booking both
  • Permission from the venue for us to set up
  • A flat spot for the taco-bar station

In Rainham, as everywhere in Greater London, the ULEZ applies and kerb space is limited. Where will the truck or trailer stop? A drive, a courtyard or a suspended bay can all work.

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

Popular choices

  • Corn and flour tortillas
  • Pickled onions and toppings
  • Two to four fillings
  • Vegan fillings
  • Tortilla chips
  • Salsas and guacamole

DIY taco night versus a caterer

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles allergen information for you.

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Planning for every diet

Allergies and diets are taken seriously. Here’s how you can help:

  • Put allergies in writing for us
  • Pick the spot for the taco bar in advance
  • Have anyone with a severe allergy speak to us first
  • Set out seating near the bar

We arrive with time to unload and set the bar up before guests eat.

Book the truck or trailer for evening food after a daytime taco bar.

For event organisers in Rainham

If you’re organising for someone else, whether you’re a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we’ll work directly with you and the venue. It keeps things simple.

Events in public spaces, like parks, normally need permission. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.

Prices and what affects them

Your quote will be clear. What affects it most:

  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • Staff for serving and the bar
  • How long we are needed on site
  • Distance and access to the venue

What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

Details that help

These details help us quote quickly:

  • A picture of where we’d park
  • The date and time of the event
  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground

Getting a quote is simple: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We’ll send you a clear quote and a suggested menu.
