Dietary needs and planning tips

- Include a dietary question on your invitations
Fillings are kept hot and tortillas warmed in batches.
Ask us about plates, napkins and cutlery and we will set out the options in your quote.

About the menu
Hot fillings
You might choose two or three fillings, including a vegan one. You choose them with us.
Vegan fillings
A vegan filling sits on the bar with the rest, not an afterthought.
Step by step
Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we plan a spot with space for people to queue. Rain doesn’t generally stop us serving, but guests will need somewhere covered. A December taco bar in Seasalter will be in the dark from about 3:50pm, so set the station up where the lighting is good. At midsummer, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:15pm.
- Start with your date, venue and guest numbers.
- We plan the fillings, salsas and toppings with you.
- We confirm the table spot and where we will unload.
- Our staff set out the bar and guests build their own tacos.
- When everyone has eaten, we pack up.
How to prepare
- Let us know the timings for the day
- Measure any gates or arches on the way in
- Ask the venue about power and water

Taco bar hire or something else?
The difference between a taco bar and truck service is who builds the taco. From the truck, we put each order together; at the taco bar, guests do the building. Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, along with extras and where your event is. We quote for each event individually.
