How we price taco bar hire
We will give you a clear quote. What affects it most:
- Food, drinks or both
- Your choice of food and drinks
- Serving staff
- What the venue already provides
The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, since the set-up is much the same either way. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.
What we need to know
You do not need everything decided to ask for a quote, but these help:
- Any dietary needs and allergies
- Approximate guest numbers, including children
- The date and time of the event
- What power and water the site has
A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: the venue, the timings, food or drinks or both, and the access. When you’re ready, fill in our quote form.
How our taco bar hire works in Stubbles
Truck and trailer bookings normally suit around 50 to 400 guests, while smaller parties are quoted case by case. Share your headcount and we’ll size the taco bar to match. At anniversary parties and barn and marquee parties, we can serve slow-cooked fillings kept hot, pickled onions and toppings and burrito bowls for your guests.
For a rural spot like Stubbles, a taco bar beside the truck in a field or garden is a simple set-up. Let us know about the gate, the ground and the route in, and we confirm power and water arrangements before the day. We prepare everything fresh for your event and serve it straight from our truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.

Should I do it myself?
A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.
Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.
For planners, venues and organisers
If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can check the date.
If you are booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we will talk you through the process. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.
Your questions about taco bar hire in Stubbles
Do you come to events in the North Wessex Downs National Landscape?
We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.
Do you come out to small places like Stubbles?
Yes, we cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Let us know about access and parking for the truck or trailer.
How long do you serve for?
We get there well before service to set up. Serving times are agreed with you in advance.
Can you cater for children?
Of course. Mild dishes, quesadillas and nachos can be part of the menu. Include children in your numbers.
What do you serve?
Mexican street food: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.
How does a taco bar work?
We set out warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings on a serving table, and each guest builds their own. We stay to keep everything hot and stocked.
What does taco bar hire cost?
Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually need. Tell us your date and numbers and we’ll reply with a quote.
What space does a taco bar need?
A level spot for the serving table, room to queue and somewhere close to unload our vehicle. Power and water are confirmed with each booking.
How it works
We get there well before you want to serve, then set up and prepare everything. Guests come up to order when service opens. Around midsummer it stays light in Stubbles until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:10pm, so an outdoor taco bar in summer is usually served in daylight. For winter events, dark by about 4:00pm, plan good lighting over the station.
- Tell us about your event and your guests.
- We send a sample spread and a quote.
- Access, power and water are agreed beforehand.
- We set up the station and keep everything hot.
- Afterwards, we pack down and leave the area tidy.
Getting ready for the day
- Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
- Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
- Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
