Book taco bar hire in Swanwick
Why choose taco bar hire in Swanwick?
You are not limited to places a truck can park, such as a courtyard, a barn or a hall, with the venue’s agreement.
Whatever the occasion, the serving truck can be a highlight. We’re happy to cater:
- Summer garden parties
- Team lunches
- Team socials
- Leaving and retirement parties
Guests leaving a church like Church of St Paul could head to a nearby hall or garden where the taco bar is ready.
What to look for in a quote

- Who provides plates and napkins
- How late numbers can change
- Space, access, power and water needs
How our taco bar hire works in Swanwick
The toppings are where guests get creative: pickled onions, coriander, lime, shredded lettuce and cheese, agreed with you in advance. For team lunches and family celebrations, we will put together a menu of burrito bowls, fresh salsas and slow-cooked fillings kept hot for your guests.
Near Swanwick, a marquee or barn makes a good home for a taco bar. We set up the station and our team runs it. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so set-up goes smoothly.
For planners, venues and organisers
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.
If you run the same event each year, tell us your dates early, so we can check the date.
Is taco bar hire right for your event?
A taco bar and a truck serve the same food in different ways. From the truck, we put each order together; at the bar, guests build their own. A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.
Why us?
- Served fresh from our truck or trailer
- Fast service, even with a queue
- A menu built around your guests

The process
Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. Evenings in Swanwick stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:10pm. After dusk, lights over the station help guests build their tacos.
- Send us your date, where the taco bar will go, numbers and dietary needs.
- We suggest fillings, salsas and toppings for the bar and send a quote.
- Together we fix the spot for the taco bar and a nearby place for our vehicle.
- Our staff set up the station, keep the fillings hot and top up the bar through service.
- After the last tacos, we clear the station away.
How to prepare
- Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
- Confirm numbers and diets before the day

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think.

Swanwick: your questions answered
Could you serve our guests after a service at Church of St Paul?
Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.
Is Swanwick close to London?
Roughly 67 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.
How much is a taco bar?
We quote for each taco bar, based on numbers, fillings, the venue and timings. For a price, drop us a line using the enquiry form.
What areas do you cover?
London and the South East: Greater London, Kent and Medway, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, including Swanwick.
Can you cater for guests who avoid dairy?
Yes. We offer dairy-free options, and we will tell you which dishes contain milk.
Do you need electricity?
Let us know what’s available on site, such as a supply from the venue near where we will park, and we will confirm what we need with your quote.
How do you handle dietary needs at the taco bar?
Fillings and toppings sit in separate dishes, which helps with mixed diets, though we can’t guarantee there are no traces of any allergen. Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.
Does the taco bar need the truck on site?
It can go beside the truck or trailer, or somewhere a vehicle can’t reach. Either way, we need to unload nearby and have the venue’s permission.

Dietary needs and planning tips
A Mexican menu is easy to plan for mixed diets, because options can be kept separate. A few tips:
- Ask guests about diets and allergies on the RSVP
- Include a vegan filling on the bar
- Decide where the table goes before the day
- Tell us when guests should eat
Fillings are kept hot and tortillas warmed in batches, so the bar stays fresh from the first plate to the last.
Loaded nachos make a good starter while the bar is set up.
