Taco bar hire near Townhill Park

Taco bar hire in Townhill Park, from our truck or trailer

We run the taco bar ourselves: keeping the fillings hot, warming tortillas and topping up the bowls. Nobody from your side needs to lift a spoon. On the menu are pickled onions and toppings, burrito bowls and slow-cooked fillings kept hot, and it’s a good fit for wedding breakfasts and family get-togethers.

A place like Townhill Park may have a hall or a club nearby if your garden is small; we need the venue’s permission, a level spot and somewhere to unload. Everything is prepared fresh for your event and served from our truck or trailer.

Questions from Townhill Park

We are having a ceremony at St. Mary's Church: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.

Could you serve in Riverside Park?

Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Ask them first, and we will help with the information they need from us.

Do you give allergen information?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, with allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we can’t promise anything is completely allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.

Do you cater for vegetarian guests?

Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect, and we’ll keep their options separate.

Who looks after the taco bar?

We run the station ourselves, so you don’t need helpers. We pack it away afterwards.

Do you do a taco bar?

Yes, a taco bar is one of our options. Let us know your numbers and space and we’ll suggest the best set-up.

Do you have gluten-free options?

Yes, we offer gluten-free options, made with corn tortillas. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can explain how we prepare their food. See are corn tortillas gluten-free?

Which areas do you serve?

London and the South East: Greater London, Kent and Medway, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, including Townhill Park.

The process

We get there well before you want to serve, then set up and prepare everything. Guests come up to order when service opens. Evenings in Townhill Park stay light until about 9:25pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:10pm. Once it gets dark, guests need to see what they’re adding to their tacos.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, how many guests and any diets.
  2. We suggest fillings, salsas and toppings for the bar and send a quote.
  3. Together we fix the spot for the taco bar and a nearby place for our vehicle.
  4. Our staff set up the station, keep the fillings hot and top up the bar through service.
  5. Once guests have eaten, we take down the bar and leave the spot tidy.

Getting ready for the day

  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches

How we price taco bar hire

Each event is quoted on its own, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • Parking and the route in
  • Whether you need disposables
  • Serving staff

Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, plus any add-ons and the location. Every event gets its own quote.

Getting an accurate quote

Good planning starts with a few facts. Please include:

  • The venue or postcode
  • Your menu ideas
  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • A picture of where we’d park

Still deciding on the menu? No problem: give us the basics about your event, and we will suggest a menu. When you are ready, use our quote form.

About the menu

Why choose taco bar hire in Townhill Park?

Pizza is the usual crowd-pleaser, but a taco bar gives guests more say over what they eat. When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.

What you get with us

  • Allergen-aware menus
  • A menu agreed with you
  • Quoted for your event

Organising for someone else?

Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll explain how it works. We’re happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

Our caterer checklist

Can I do a taco night myself?

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles allergen information for you.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.
