About our taco bar hire in West Langdon
We bring taco bars to events in and around West Langdon: from barns and marquees to gardens, halls and offices. It suits marquee parties and birthday parties, serving fresh salsas, guacamole and warm corn and flour tortillas.
For a rural spot like West Langdon, a taco bar beside the truck in a field or garden is a simple set-up. Let us know about the gate, the ground and the route in, and we will confirm power and water with you. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included, and we give allergen information for every dish.
Should I do it myself?
A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it is more work than it looks. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.
Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.
Where the truck can go in West Langdon
Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but a few things matter:
- Space beside the truck or trailer if you’re booking both
- Space for a serving table on level ground
- Shelter from rain and sun for an outdoor bar
If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise.
What we offer
- Pickled onions and toppings
- Vegan fillings
- Corn and flour tortillas
- Salsas and guacamole
- Tortilla chips
- Two to four fillings

How it compares
A taco bar and a truck serve the same food in different ways. At the hatch, we make each order; at the bar, guests build their own. A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there is no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.
What you get with us
- Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both
- Everything served fresh from the hatch
- A quote that sets out what’s included
- Every guest catered for, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free included

Questions from West Langdon
Can you cater a reception after a service at St Mary the Virgin?
Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.
Could you set up a taco bar in a hall near West Langdon?
Yes, if the venue allows outside caterers. Tell us about the parking, the doors and the space for the station.
Do you cook on site?
Fillings are slow-cooked in advance, then finished and kept hot on site. The tortillas are warmed on site, and the salsas and guacamole are made fresh.
How much does taco bar hire cost?
We don’t publish set prices, as each booking is different. Share your plans and you’ll get a quote. See what Mexican catering costs for background.
Can you keep it mild?
We can keep it mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.
Can you plan for allergies?
Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. Under UK rules, caterers must give information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.
Can you do dairy-free food?
Yes, on request. Let us know your dairy-free numbers, and we’ll include them in the plan.
What space does a taco bar need?
Tell us about the venue and the spot you have in mind, and we will confirm what’s needed. We also need the venue’s permission.
How the day works
When we arrive, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. We are ready to serve at the agreed time, so everything runs to your schedule. A December taco bar in West Langdon will be in the dark from about 3:50pm, so set the station up where the lighting is good. In late June, the light holds until around 9:15pm.
- Send us the date, venue and numbers.
- Together we choose what goes on the bar.
- We confirm the table spot and where we will unload.
- On the day, guests help themselves while we keep the bar stocked.
- We clear the bar away after service.
Before we arrive
- Measure any gates or arches on the way in
- Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
- Share the running order, including any speeches
