About our wedding Mexican catering in Bladon

Service is planned around your running order: whether that is straight after the photos or later in the evening. We go over timings with your venue beforehand. On the menu are quesadillas, tacos and evening tacos, and it suits evening wedding food and informal wedding breakfasts.

Near Bladon, weddings are often in fields, barns or gardens. A truck or trailer works well there: no kitchen, just firm ground and access. Let us know about access, ground, power and water. Questions from Bladon

Which station should guests use for Bladon?

Hanborough station, about 1 mile west of the centre.

Can you cater a reception after a service at St Martin's Church?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.

Do you do evening food as well as the main meal?

Yes: one part of the day, or both main meals, from the wedding breakfast to evening food. Tell us what you have in mind.

Do you do a wedding bar?

Our drinks bar can be added. Licensing is checked with you and the venue.

Is Mexican street food too casual for a wedding?

Served well, it feels generous and special, and it suits a relaxed day.

When do you arrive?

That depends on your event and menu. We agree arrival, service and pack-down times with you to suit your day.

Can you keep it mild?

The food can be kept mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Our truck and trailer service generally suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Tell us your numbers.

What affects the price in Bladon

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, depending on:

  • Timings and hours
  • What the venue already provides
  • Guest numbers
  • Staff for serving and the bar

Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.

Getting an accurate quote

We can quote more accurately with a few details. Here’s what to include:

  • The address or venue name
  • The date and rough timings
  • Expected numbers
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground

How it works

We arrive in good time before service, then set up and prepare everything. Guests come up to order when service opens. For a summer wedding in Bladon, the sun sets at about 9:30pm in late June and about 7:10pm in late September, so evening tacos are usually served in daylight in high summer. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it is dark by about 3:55pm.

  1. You send us your wedding date, venue, numbers and how you see the day.
  2. Together we choose a taco bar, evening food or both, and we send a quote.
  3. We agree access, timings, power and water with you and your venue.
  4. We arrive, set up and serve the food at the agreed times.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

How to prepare

  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain

Quesadillas go down well with children at the wedding breakfast.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: see how many tacos per person. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label anything containing allergens.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.
