Planning an event in Earl's Court?

Wedding Mexican catering in Earl's Court, served fresh

We can cater the wedding breakfast, the evening food or both. A taco bar for the meal and loaded nachos or tacos for the evening works well. For receptions after an intimate ceremony and rustic barn weddings, we will put together a menu of a taco bar for the wedding breakfast, evening tacos and quesadillas.

Couples in Earl's Court often marry locally and hold the reception at a venue nearby. A food truck needs a courtyard or forecourt it can reach, so ask your venue about vehicle access and loading early. Parking and loading in London need planning, and all of Greater London is inside the ULEZ. Timings are planned around your event, so service starts when you want it.

How we price wedding Mexican catering

Pricing is straightforward once we know the basics:

  • How many guests we’re serving
  • The menu you choose
  • Whether you need disposables
  • Staff for serving and the bar

What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. We will suggest options to suit your budget.

What to tell us

The more we know about your wedding, the better we can plan. Try to include:

  • What you’d like on the menu
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • The venue or postcode
  • How we drive in and where we can park

Planning the serving area

We’ll agree the spot with you before the day. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:

  • Agreement from the venue to bring a food truck or trailer on site
  • A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand
  • A serving point within easy walk of the reception

As a London location, Earl's Court is inside the ULEZ, and parking and loading take planning: tell us about parking bays, permits, a driveway or whether a parking suspension is needed.

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise before booking.

On the menu in Earl's Court

Organising for someone else?

Planning an event for a club, school or charity in Earl's Court? Service from a truck or trailer is quick, even for a crowd, and the menu can suit most diets. Tell us about the event and we’ll suggest a menu.

Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we will keep everyone informed on the day.

Should I do it myself?

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, with allergen information for every dish.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

Evening tacos

Tacos from the hatch for evening guests, easy to eat standing up.

Taco bar wedding breakfast

A taco bar makes a relaxed main meal. Fillings are agreed with you.

Comparing your options

If you are weighing up a taco bar against a traditional menu, consider the venue, the diets and the style you want. Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.

What you get with us

  • Everything served fresh from the hatch
  • Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both
  • Set-up planned with you and your venue
  • Quick, friendly service from the hatch

Take a look at our prices page and the cost guide.

Step by step

Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we plan a spot with space for people to queue. Rain does not typically stop us serving, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit. December weddings in Earl's Court lose the light by about 3:55pm, so evening guests will be queuing in the dark. Ask your venue what outdoor lighting it has near where we’ll park.

  1. Send us your wedding date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we plan the food for your day.
  3. We agree timings and access with the venue.
  4. We serve at the agreed points in the day.
  5. We pack down and leave our area tidy.

How to prepare

  • Tell us when you want service to start
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely

How to get a price

We need only a few details to quote: date, location, guest numbers and diets. To send them, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

FAQs for Earl's Court

Which station should guests use for Earl's Court?

Guests can use West Brompton station, which is right in Earl's Court.

Can you cater a reception after a service at St Cuthbert's?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Do you need power and water?

It depends on the event and the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

What food and drinks do you offer?

Every menu is agreed with you. Fillings might include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria and vegan options such as spiced mushrooms or black beans. See our menu for ideas.

Can you keep it mild?

That is your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.

Do you have options for kids?

Yes, children are easy to plan for. Let us know numbers and ages, and we will plan the menu with them in mind.

Can you serve in the rain?

We can serve from the hatch in the rain. Plan cover for guests, such as a marquee or gazebo, and tell us if heavy rain could make the ground soft.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

We confirm that with your quote. Tell us whether your venue has crockery or you’d prefer disposables and we will talk it through.
