Prices and what affects them

These are the factors that matter most:

  • How long we are needed on site
  • The menu you choose
  • Travel, parking and access
  • Staff for serving and the bar

There’s no one-size-fits-all price for wedding Mexican catering. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.

What we need to know

You do not need everything decided to ask for a quote, but these help:

  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • A picture of where we’d park
  • The venue or postcode

Still deciding on the menu? That is fine: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we’ll suggest a menu. To start, send a quick message through our quote form.

Wedding Mexican catering in Langney, served fresh

A taco bar at a wedding feels relaxed and generous. Guests build their own plates from warm tortillas, fillings, salsas and toppings, and the queue turns into part of the fun. Popular choices include quesadillas, fresh guacamole and salsas and loaded nachos, and it is a good fit for marquee and garden weddings and informal wedding breakfasts.

Weddings in a place like Langney often feel personal: a local church, then a marquee in a garden or field. A truck or trailer parked by the marquee fits right in. Tell us about access to the field or garden. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

Weddings in Langney: venues, ceremonies and travel

Langney is about 2 miles north-east of Eastbourne, in East Sussex. We serve at weddings in gardens, halls and venues around Langney. We cater in 289 places in East Sussex, from the larger towns to small villages, wherever the truck or trailer can get in. You can also see our page for Brighton, about 20 miles away.

With a ceremony at a church such as St. Richard, the simplest plan is a reception close by, so guests aren’t travelling far before they eat. Service can start as guests arrive. If you are hoping for photos in Princes Park, check whether the park needs permission for photography or gatherings. Couples near Langney have the South Downs National Park within about 7 miles, if a countryside setting appeals. Barns and fields there can be reached down narrow tracks, so we check the route with the venue. With the coast within about 3 miles, a seaside-style wedding is an option. Coastal wind, sand and seafront access all need planning for a truck or trailer.

For wedding Mexican catering in BN23, we plan around your venue and the route in and your guests. Streets in the area include Priory Road, Priory Lane and Pembury Road, and a wedding on any of them can work if the truck or trailer can park nearby. If your venue is just outside Langney, we also cover Westham (1 mile north), Pevensey (2 miles north-east), Jenkins' Green (2 miles north), Pevensey Bay (2 miles north-east) and Normans' Bay (4 miles north-east). We also cater in nearby towns such as Hastings (12 miles north-east), Bexhill-on-Sea (7 miles north-east), Seaford (9 miles west), Lewes (14 miles west), Hailsham (5 miles north-west) and St Leonards (11 miles east).

Nearby you’ll also find Eastbourne District General Hospital (2.3 miles south-west) and Pevensey Castle (1.5 miles north-east). Open spaces near Langney include Combe Hill.

  • Schools near Langney include Bishop Bell School (within half a mile south-east)
  • Pubs nearby include The Lodge pub (0.9 miles south)

For planners, venues and organisers

If you’re organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we’ll work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.

For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can plan ahead.

Questions from Langney

Is it possible to have you in Princes Park?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.

Can you bring a truck or trailer to venues in the South Downs National Park?

Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules; ask your venue. Tell us about narrow lanes and soft ground.

Are plates and napkins included?

Please ask us. Tell us what your venue provides, and we will confirm what’s included with your quote.

What if our speeches run late?

We plan for it. Service starts when your running order says.

Can you do gluten-free food?

Yes, with corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

Do you need electricity?

It depends on the event and the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

Which areas do you serve?

London and the South East: Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire, including Langney.

Do you clear up afterwards?

We clear our own area when service is finished. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.

How it compares

A hog roast is popular at weddings, but harder for vegetarian and vegan guests. Tacos cover them with separate fillings. Larger events can cost less per head, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Diets, allergies and planning

Every guest is catered for, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free included. To get it right:

  • Tell us how many evening guests to expect
  • Connect us with your coordinator
  • Think about a covered space for wet weather
  • Collect dietary needs on the RSVP

We have allergen details for every dish, and dishes are labelled.

Loaded nachos make easy evening food.
