Space, access and the venue
The route in matters as much as the spot itself. We look for:
- Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first
- Hardstanding or firm, level ground to park on
- A spot away from buildings, windows and neighbours
If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think before you book.

Comparing your options
A plated wedding breakfast needs a kitchen and a larger team. Our truck or trailer brings its own kitchen, and a taco bar feels more relaxed. Larger events can cost less per head, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.
Why us?
- A truck or trailer that comes to you
- Allergen-aware menus

The process
We arrive in good time before service, then set up and prepare everything. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. In Milton Street, midsummer sunset is about 9:15pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:05pm, which means evening food is normally served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 3:55pm.
- Tell us the date, the venue, day and evening numbers and your plans.
- Together we choose a taco bar, evening food or both, and we send a quote.
- We confirm access, the serving spot and the running order with the venue.
- On the day we set up and serve when your running order says.
- Once service is done, we pack away quietly.
Getting ready for the day
- Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
- Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
- Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
