How it compares
If you are weighing up a taco bar against a traditional menu, consider the venue, the diets and the style you want. What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. We will suggest options to suit your budget.
Why book with us
- Menus for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests
- Set-up planned with you and your venue
- Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both
- A quote that sets out what’s included
What we need at the venue
We’ll agree the spot with you before the day. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:
- Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking
- Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first
- A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand
Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.

The process
We get there well before you want to serve, then set up and prepare everything. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. In Ringmer, midsummer sunset is about 9:15pm, and by late September it is nearer 7:05pm, which means evening food is normally served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it is dark by about 3:55pm.
- We start with your date, venue, guest numbers and ideas for the day.
- Together we choose a taco bar, evening food or both, and we send a quote.
- Timings and where the truck or trailer will stand are agreed with your venue.
- We arrive, set up and serve the food at the agreed times.
- We pack down after service and leave our area tidy.
How to prepare
- Let us know who to talk to on the day
- Confirm the venue allows outside caterers

How we price wedding Mexican catering
The same guest numbers can mean different prices, depending on:
- The length of service
- Food, drinks or both
- Staff for serving and the bar
- What the venue already provides
The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.
Getting an accurate quote
To check availability and price, we need:
- Gate widths, slopes and the ground
- What power and water the site has
- What you’d like on the menu
- Expected numbers
To get a price, just fill in our quote form. Give us the details of your wedding, and we’ll suggest a menu to suit.

DIY taco night or a caterer?
A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it is more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.
Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.
