Common questions in Stone Cross

How far is Stone Cross from London?

Roughly 50 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.

Do you cater at coastal events near Stone Cross?

Yes, as long as the site allows it and the ground is firm. Wind, sand and seafront permissions are the main things to plan on the coast.

Do you come to Stone Cross?

Yes. We cover London and the South East, including Stone Cross and the rest of East Sussex. For a quote, fill in our quote form.

Can you feed our photographer and band?

Yes. Add your suppliers to the final numbers and we’ll plan for them.

What’s on the menu?

Mexican street food: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar.

Is Mexican street food too casual for a wedding?

It can be as relaxed or as polished as you like, depending on the presentation and the venue.

What access do you need?

The main things are access and a level spot: a level spot to park, space for guests to queue and a little room for a serving table. Send us a photo and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

How much does wedding Mexican catering cost in Stone Cross?

Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you want. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas for a clear quote.

Wedding Mexican catering in Stone Cross, served fresh

Our food truck or trailer suits marquee, barn and garden weddings, as long as we can drive in safely and park on level ground. It works well for weddings with lots of dietary needs and evening wedding food, with evening tacos, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast and quesadillas.

Weddings in a place like Stone Cross often feel personal: a local church, then a marquee in a garden or field. A food truck by the marquee suits that kind of day. Tell us about access to the field or garden. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so there are no surprises on arrival.

How the day works

On the day, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. We are ready to serve at the agreed time, so everything runs to your schedule. A winter wedding in Stone Cross gets dark early, at about 3:55pm in December, so the evening food will be served after dark. Festoon lights by the truck help guests see the menu.

  1. You send us your wedding date, venue, numbers and how you see the day.
  2. You get a suggested wedding menu and a quote to match.
  3. Timings and where the truck or trailer will stand are agreed with your venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue, around speeches and photos.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

How to prepare

Our caterer checklist

How we price wedding Mexican catering

We quote for your event, and the price is based on:

  • How long we are needed on site
  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • The number of people
  • How many staff you need

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we will suggest a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.

What we need to know

You do not need everything decided to ask for a quote, but these help:

  • The venue or postcode
  • Expected numbers
  • Your menu ideas
  • A picture of where we’d park

Each quote is tailored to your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we will confirm whether we are available that day.

Catering for every guest

Good planning keeps every guest safe and happy. Here’s how:

  • Introduce us to your venue coordinator
  • Enquire early for summer Saturdays
  • Ask about diets and allergies with your RSVPs
  • Have cover for guests if the weather turns

We park where the venue agrees, ideally where guests can see us, which makes a good photo.

Quesadillas go down well with children at the wedding breakfast.

For planners, venues and organisers

For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can check the date.

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.

Planning a taco wedding in Stone Cross

Stone Cross is about 2 miles north of Eastbourne, in East Sussex. For wedding Mexican catering in Stone Cross, we plan around your venue and timings: a quote, a plan and friendly service on the day. Looking for a natural setting for portraits? Combe Hill is within easy reach of Stone Cross. Close to Stone Cross are historic houses such as Michelham Priory (4.8 miles north-west). Should I do it myself?

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, with allergen information for every dish.

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
