  • Include suppliers who need feeding

We keep in touch with your venue coordinator on the day, so you do not have to.

Add our drinks bar for margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas, with licensing checked with you and your venue.

How our wedding Mexican catering works in The Platt

For weddings in The Platt and nearby, we can cater one part of the day or both main meals. Share your plans and we’ll suggest a menu. Popular choices include fresh guacamole and salsas, loaded nachos and burrito bowls, and it is a good fit for weddings with mixed diets and late-evening wedding food.

A wedding in a small place like The Platt often means a field, a barn or a family garden. A truck or trailer works well there: no venue kitchen needed, just level, firm ground and a way in. Tell us about lanes, gates and ground conditions. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so one caterer can cover more of the day.

Questions from The Platt

We are having a ceremony at The Parish Church of St Alban: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

Could you serve in Eridge Park?

Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Ask them first, and we’ll help with the information they need from us.

What areas do you cover?

We cover London and the South East, Kent included. See all areas.

Can guests build their own tacos?

Yes, a taco bar is one of our options. Let us know your numbers and space and we will recommend how to serve.

How soon do we need to book?

Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Even if it’s short notice, it’s worth asking.

What access do you need?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, plus the venue’s permission. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.

Can you serve in the rain?

We can serve from the hatch in the rain. Plan cover for guests, such as a marquee or gazebo, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

Do you do parties at home?

Yes, as long as there’s access and a level, firm spot. Send us a photo of the access and the space, and we will tell you honestly whether it works.

What happens on the day

It is a relaxed, well-organised set-up. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, get the serving area ready, and get on with serving. A winter wedding in The Platt gets dark early, at about 3:55pm in December, so the evening food will be served after dark. Festoon lights by the truck help guests see the menu.

  1. Send us your wedding date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan the wedding breakfast, evening food or both with you.
  3. We agree timings and access with the venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue.
  5. We clear our area once service ends.

How to prepare

  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
  • Let us know the timings for the day

DIY taco night versus a caterer

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles allergen information for you.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
