Food truck hire in Bagnum, from our food truck or trailer
Food truck hire suits weddings, milestone birthdays and staff events. Popular choices include burrito bowls, vegan tacos and loaded nachos, and it suits client events and product launches and birthday parties.
In a rural place like Bagnum, access is the main thing to plan for a hired truck: gate widths, soft ground and the route from the road all matter. Power and water may be limited, so we confirm the arrangements before the day. Timings are planned around your event, so service starts when you want it.
Food truck hire or something else?
A marquee kitchen with plated service needs more space, more staff and more time. Our food truck or trailer brings the kitchen and serves from one hatch. Pricing depends on the event. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Contact us for a quote.

Bagnum questions
Do you cater in the New Forest National Park?
Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules; ask your venue. We’ll follow the site rules.
Do you hire out your food truck for parties in places like Bagnum?
Yes, depending on the date. For a private or work event in a village or hamlet, the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.
Are plates and napkins included?
Ask us when you enquire. Tell us what your venue provides, and we will set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.
Can you plan for allergies?
Yes. Tell us about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.
Do you cover Bagnum?
We do. Bagnum is one of the places we cover. Tell us your date and we’ll check availability.
What do you need at the venue?
Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.
Do you cater for vegetarian guests?
Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect, and we’ll keep their options separate.
Do you need electricity?
It depends on the event and the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Let us know whether there’s a supply near where we’ll park.

Step by step
We arrive in good time before service, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. Guests come up to order when service opens. At midsummer, it stays light in Bagnum until about 9:25pm, and by late September sunset is about 7:10pm. For winter events, dark by about 4:05pm, plan lighting where guests queue at the hatch.
- Send us your date, the address, a headcount and dietary needs.
- You get a hatch menu and a quote for the hire.
- Where the truck or trailer will stand, the route in, and power and water are all agreed in advance.
- Your guests order at the hatch and we serve hot food at the agreed times.
- When service ends, we pack up and leave the spot clear.

What food truck hire costs
Every event is priced individually, based on a few main things:
- Distance and access to the venue
- What the venue already provides
- The menu you choose
- How many guests we are serving
What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.
What to tell us
Good planning starts with a few facts. Try to include:
- What you’d like on the menu
- Any dietary needs and allergies
- Roughly how many adults and children
- Where the event is
Not sure what you need yet? That’s fine: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we will suggest a menu. To start, drop us a line using the enquiry form.
Planning for every diet
Mixed diets are straightforward to plan for, because options can be kept separate. A few tips:
- Ask guests about dietary needs when they reply
- Ask about parking rules if we will be on a road
- Let us know who is coeliac
- Walk the access route and note narrow gaps
We can serve through rain, though a marquee or gazebo helps guests stay dry.
Ask us about napkins, plates and cutlery and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
Should I do it myself?
Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.
