How our food truck hire works in Ringwood
We bring the truck or trailer to private and work events in and around Ringwood: gardens, venue grounds, car parks and business parks. It suits anniversary celebrations and milestone birthdays, serving burritos, loaded nachos and tacos from the hatch.
In and around Ringwood, our food truck or trailer can work at home, in a field or at a hall. Narrow roads and soft ground are fine if we know about them. You can book food, drinks or both, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.
Is food truck hire right for your event?
Burger and pizza vans are familiar. Tacos and burritos from a truck feel different. Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, plus any add-ons and the location. We quote for each event individually.

Your questions about food truck hire in Ringwood
Is it possible to have you in Avon Heath Country Park?
It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.
Can you cater a reception after a service at Trinity Congregational Church?
Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.
Can we hire the truck for our wedding?
We can serve from the truck for the wedding meal, the evening or both. Timings are agreed with you and your venue. Read more in having a food truck at a wedding.
Do you cover Ringwood?
We do. We serve at events in Ringwood and across Hampshire. Tell us your date and we will check availability.
Can we add drinks?
We bring bar staff with the drinks bar and alcohol-free choices. We’ll talk through licensing first.
How is the food prepared?
We cook to order in our food truck or trailer kitchen, or serve from a taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.
When do you arrive?
It depends on your event. We agree arrival, service and pack-down times with you so everything fits your schedule.
What does hiring your food truck involve?
You book the truck or trailer for set hours at your event. We cook, serve and clear away.
Where the truck can go in Ringwood
Many gardens, fields and venues can take a truck or trailer, but a few things matter:
- The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a food truck
- A clear area for a queue at the hatch
- Arrangements for power and water, agreed when you book
If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before booking.
For event organisers in Ringwood
Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.
If you’re booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we will talk you through the process. We’re happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.
DIY taco night versus a caterer
Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Contact us for a quote to compare.
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.
Planning for every diet
Mixed diets are straightforward to plan for, because guests can choose what suits them. A few tips:
- Let us know who is coeliac
- Tell us how many children are coming
- Check early that your venue allows food trucks
- Add a dietary question to the invitation
Running late? Tell us and we’ll adjust service.
A taco-bar station can sit next to the truck.
