Food truck hire near Bletchingdon

Food truck hire in Bletchingdon, from our truck or trailer

We cook inside our food truck or trailer, so your venue doesn’t need a kitchen. We need a level spot, safe access and the venue’s permission, with power and water confirmed per booking. For leaving dos and retirements and end-of-year celebrations, we’ll put together a menu of tacos from the hatch, burritos and fresh salsas and guacamole.

Near Bletchingdon, a hired food truck in a field or garden suits private parties and work away days alike. Guests order at the hatch, so plan a sheltered spot for the queue in case of rain. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so set-up goes smoothly.

Common questions in Bletchingdon

Is Bletchingdon close to London?

It’s about 56 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Will you travel to a small place like Bletchingdon?

Yes, small places are no problem, given access. Tell us about lanes, gates, ground and parking.

Are plates and napkins included?

Ask us when you enquire. Tell us what your venue provides, and we will confirm what’s included with your quote.

Do you cover Bletchingdon?

We do. We serve at events in Bletchingdon and across Oxfordshire. Send us your date to check availability.

How long are you on site?

That depends on your event and menu. We agree arrival, service and pack-down times with you to suit your day.

Do you do margaritas?

Yes, we offer a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. Your venue or event may need the right licence for alcohol, so we will talk licensing through with you.

Can you plan for allergies?

Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

What access do you need?

The main things are access and a level spot: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a picture of the space and the way in.

Why choose food truck hire in Bletchingdon?

Mixed diets are easy to plan, since vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free choices come from the same hatch.

Big or small, a truck or trailer works well. Common bookings include:

  • Winter staff parties
  • Parties in venue grounds
  • Client events and product launches
  • Leaving dos and retirements

When the service is at a church such as Church of St Giles, the truck would serve at the reception venue rather than at the church.

Before booking anyone

  • Allergen information for each dish
  • Plates and napkins, or nothing at all
  • How late numbers can change
  • Travel and parking costs

How to compare caterers

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Food truck hire or something else?

Burger and pizza vans are familiar. A Mexican food truck offers something less expected. Extras, such as more dishes, extra drinks or a longer service, are quoted on request, so you can choose what you need.
