Food truck hire near Church End
Food truck hire in Church End, served fresh
We serve when you want us to: a lunchtime window, an evening service or a longer slot through a party. Tell us when guests should eat. On the menu are loaded nachos, tacos from the hatch and quesadillas, and it is a good fit for private parties in fields and grounds and christenings and family parties.
For a private or work event in Church End, our truck or trailer parks up and guests order at the hatch. Let us know about the access, any barriers and the width of the way in, and send a picture if you can. We serve from the hatch of our food truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

FAQs for Church End
Is parking a problem for events in Church End?
That depends on the street. A drive, a courtyard or a bay suspended by the council can all work, so tell us what’s outside your venue. The ULEZ covers all of Greater London.
Could you serve our guests after a service at St Margaret's Church?
Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.
Who clears up?
Our area is packed away and left tidy. Tell us the venue’s rules on waste and clearing up and we’ll talk it through.
Can we hire a bar too?
The drinks bar comes with bar staff and alcohol-free choices. We will talk through licensing first.
Is the food made fresh?
Fillings are slow-cooked in advance, then finished and kept hot on site. Tortillas are warmed on site, and salsas and guacamole are made fresh.
What do you serve?
We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings could include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. See our menu for ideas.
How much is food truck hire?
We don’t publish set prices, because each hire is different. Tell us your plans and we’ll quote for your event. See the Mexican catering cost guide for background.
Which areas do you serve?
London and the South East: Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire, including Church End.
Food truck hire or something else?
Cooking yourself saves on catering but costs you the day. With a hired truck, we do the cooking so you can join in. Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we will set out what’s included.

- Family reunions
- Birthday parties
- Leaving dos and retirements
- Private parties in fields and grounds
Around Church End, historic houses include Heath Hall (2.1 miles south-east) and Kenwood House (2.4 miles south-east). If you are hiring a historic venue, check early whether it allows a catering vehicle on site.
What your quote should include
- How dietary needs and allergies are handled
- Space, access, power and water needs
- The deadline for final numbers
- Payment terms and deposit
Prices and what affects them
Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:
- Timings and hours
- What the venue already provides
- Parking and the route in
- The menu you choose
The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, since the set-up is much the same either way. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.
Getting an accurate quote
To speed things up, tell us:
- Gate widths, slopes and the ground
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
- The date and time of the event
- Expected numbers
Every event is quoted individually, based on what you need. To ask for one, send us your details through our quote form.
How the day works
Service is quick and friendly: we serve from the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. Afterwards we clear our area. A hired food truck at a summer event in Church End can serve in daylight until about 9:20pm at midsummer, and by late September sunset is about 7:05pm. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so the queue by the hatch needs lighting.
- Ask us whether your date is available.
- We agree a hatch menu and send a quote.
- The spot and the way in are agreed in advance.
- On the day, guests order at the hatch and we cook to order.
- After service, we close up and leave the spot clear.
Before we arrive
- Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
- Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
- Ask the venue about power and water

Should I do it myself?
Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.
Planning the serving area
Before the day, we will agree where we park and serve. A good spot ticks these boxes:
- Seating or standing room near the truck
- Arrangements for power and water, agreed when you book
- A way in wide and high enough for the vehicle
London streets around Church End can be narrow and busy, and all of Greater London sits inside the ULEZ. Tell us about loading, permits and any parking suspension when you enquire.
If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise before you book.
