Food truck hire for your event in Edmonton

Truck and trailer service normally suits around 50 to 400 guests. Smaller gatherings are looked at case by case. It suits launch events and retirement parties, serving tacos from the hatch, quesadillas and burrito bowls.

For a private or work event in Edmonton, our food truck or trailer parks up and guests order at the hatch. Tell us about the route in, height barriers and narrow entrances. We turn up ready to serve, and tidy our own area afterwards.

Planning for every diet

Every guest is catered for, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan included. To make it work smoothly:

  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Confirm the venue accepts outside caterers and vehicles
  • Ask about parking rules if we’ll be on a road
  • Walk the access route and note narrow gaps

We keep allergen information for every dish at the hatch, so guests can ask before ordering.

Loaded nachos to share while the first orders cook are a good way to begin.

What happens on the day

Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. At midsummer, it stays light in Edmonton until about 9:20pm, while late September brings sunset forward to around 7:05pm. For winter events, dark by about 3:50pm, plan lighting where guests queue at the hatch.

  1. Ask us whether your date is available.
  2. We agree a hatch menu and send a quote.
  3. The spot and the way in are agreed in advance.
  4. We drive in, open the hatch and serve your guests.
  5. After service, we close up and leave the spot clear.

Preparing for the day

  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in

FAQs for Edmonton

Is it possible to have you in Pymmes Park?

Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Check with them, and we’ll provide what they ask for from us.

Is parking a problem for events in Edmonton?

That depends on the street. A drive, a courtyard or a bay suspended by the council can all work, so tell us what’s outside your venue. The ULEZ covers all of Greater London.

Can you keep it mild?

That’s your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.

Do you take everything away?

We pack down and tidy our own area after service. For anything beyond that, such as guests’ tables, ask us.

Do you do parties at home?

Yes, if the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes, and we will tell you honestly whether it works.

Do you do food truck hire for weddings?

Wedding food from a truck feels relaxed and sociable. We will check access and timings with your venue.

What areas do you cover?

London and the South East: Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire.

What do you need at the venue?

A level, firm spot for the truck or trailer, with access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.

Prices and what affects them

We will give you a clear quote. What affects it most:

  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • The length of service
  • Whether you need disposables
  • How many guests we’re serving

Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

What to tell us

To check availability and price, we need:

  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • The address or venue name
  • How we drive in and where we can park

Each quote is tailored to your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we will check availability at the same time.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

For event organisers in Edmonton

Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we will talk you through the process. We’re happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

Organising a club, school or community event in Edmonton? A truck or trailer serves a crowd quickly, with options for most diets. Tell us about the event and we will suggest a menu.

The menu, item by item

Quesadillas

A quesadilla suits cautious eaters.

Burrito bowls

A bowl is a good choice for guests avoiding tortillas.

Planning the serving area

Every venue is different, so we’ll ask about yours when you get in touch. Generally, we look for:

  • A parking suspension, where a street spot is needed
  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a food truck
  • Some space between the truck and nearby homes

In Edmonton, as everywhere in Greater London, the ULEZ applies and kerb space is limited. Where will the truck or trailer stop? A drive, a courtyard or a suspended bay can all work.

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise.
