Food truck hire in Goddard's Green, served fresh

We cook inside our truck or trailer, so there is no need for kitchen space at the venue. We need a level spot, safe access and the venue’s permission. For big birthdays and retirement parties, we can serve burrito bowls, tacos from the hatch and vegan tacos.

In a hamlet or village like Goddard's Green, our truck or trailer can serve a private party or a team day in a field or garden. Guests order at the hatch, so plan a sheltered spot for the queue in case of rain. Every guest is catered for, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free included, with allergen information for everything we serve.

Food truck hire or something else?

Booking several street food trucks means juggling several suppliers. One truck with tacos, burritos and nachos is one booking to manage. Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.

Our caterer checklist

Your questions about food truck hire in Goddard's Green

How far is Goddard's Green from London?

It is about 42 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Do you cater in villages like Goddard's Green?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

Do you bring plates and cutlery?

Please ask us. Let us know what you already have, and we will set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.

Where do you cater?

We cater across London and the South East, West Berkshire included. Find your area.

Can guests build their own tacos?

Yes, a taco bar is one of our options. Tell us about your space and numbers and we will recommend how to serve.

Do you give allergen information?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, and give allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we can’t promise anything is completely allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

Is the food made fresh?

Fillings are slow-cooked in advance, then finished and kept hot on site. The tortillas are warmed on site, and the salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

When do you arrive?

It depends on your event. Timings are agreed in advance to suit your day.

How it works

We work to your timings. If speeches run late or the photos take longer, let us know and we will adjust where we can. At midsummer, it stays light in Goddard's Green until about 9:25pm, and by late September sunset is about 7:10pm. For winter events, dark by about 3:55pm, plan lighting where guests queue at the hatch.

  1. Tell us the date, the location, rough numbers and any diets.
  2. We check availability and send a menu and a quote for hiring the truck or trailer.
  3. Where the truck or trailer will stand, the route in, and power and water are all agreed in advance.
  4. On the day we drive in, set up and serve to order from the hatch.
  5. After service, we close the hatch, pack down and drive away.

Preparing for the day

  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Share the running order, including any speeches
  • Find out what power and water are available

What affects the price in Goddard's Green

These are the factors that matter most:

  • What the venue already provides
  • How many staff you need
  • The length of service
  • Distance and access to the venue

There’s no one-size-fits-all price for food truck hire. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.

What we need to know

To check availability and price, we need:

  • The venue or postcode
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • What power and water the site has
  • How we drive in and where we can park

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, plus any dietary needs, and we’ll reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. Just send a quick message through our quote form.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Before you choose a spot

We will be honest if a space will not work, and suggest an alternative. What matters most:

  • Seating or standing room near the truck
  • The landowner’s go-ahead for the truck or trailer
  • Arrangements for power and water, agreed when you book

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think before you book.
