Catering for every guest
A Mexican menu is easy to plan for mixed diets, because options can be kept separate. A few tips:
- Check early that your venue allows food trucks
- Share your running order
- Measure gates and look for low branches on the way in
- Collect diets and allergies with your RSVPs
At the end of service, we close the hatch and pack down, leaving our spot tidy.
Our Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can be added to the booking.
Prices and what affects them
We’ll give you a clear quote. What affects it most:
- What the venue already provides
- Timings and hours
- The number of people
- Serving staff
The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, since the set-up is much the same either way. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.
Getting an accurate quote
For a quote, it helps to have:
- Your menu ideas
- How we drive in and where we can park
- The date and time of the event
- The venue or postcode

Your questions about food truck hire in Grove
How far is Grove from London?
Roughly 58 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.
Could you serve our guests after a service at St. John the Baptist?
Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.
Where do you cater?
London and South East England: Greater London, Kent and Medway, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, including Grove.
Do you clear up afterwards?
We pack down and tidy our own area after service. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.
What does it cost to hire the truck?
We don’t publish set prices, because each hire is different. Tell us your plans and we will quote for your event. Our food truck hire guide explains what affects the cost.
Can you keep it mild?
We can keep it mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.
Do you have gluten-free options?
We can, using corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.
Can we hire a bar too?
Our Mexican drinks bar can be added to a truck booking, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. Licensing is checked with you.
Who books food truck hire in Grove?

Is food truck hire right for your event?
Most guests have seen a burger van. Tacos and burritos from a truck feel different while staying easy to eat. Got a budget? Let us know, and we will suggest a menu that fits. Even a simple menu can feel generous.
What we offer in Grove
- Options for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests
- Allergen information for everything we serve
- Book food, drinks or both
- A plan agreed before the day

How the day works
We get there well before you want to serve, then set up and prepare everything. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. By late September, it’s dark in Grove at around 7:10pm, so a later service will need some lighting. In late May, daylight lasts until about 9:00pm.
- First come the basics: date, location, numbers and diets.
- You get a hatch menu and a quote for the hire.
- We confirm the parking spot, access, power and water with you or the venue.
- Your guests order at the hatch and we serve hot food at the agreed times.
- After service, we close the hatch, pack down and drive away.
How to prepare
- Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
- Share the running order, including any speeches
- Find out what power and water are available
