About our food truck hire in Kensal Rise

We bring the truck or trailer to private and work events in and around Kensal Rise. Popular choices include burrito bowls, loaded nachos and tacos from the hatch, and it’s a good fit for weddings and summer parties at home.

Around Kensal Rise, a hired truck or trailer needs a yard, forecourt or drive it can reach. We need a level spot and room for a queue at the hatch, plus your venue’s agreement. Everything is prepared fresh for your event and served from our truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.

Why choose food truck hire in Kensal Rise?

Hiring a food truck is different from finding one at a festival. At a festival we trade to the public; a private hire means your guests, your menu and your timings. Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so tell us what you have in mind. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.

Why book Mobile Mexican Catering in Kensal Rise

  • Access, space and power checked in advance
  • Quoted for your event
  • Everything served fresh from the hatch
  • Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both

See how we price or what Mexican catering costs.

Planning the serving area

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but a few things matter:

  • Parking arrangements if we are not on private land
  • Enough width and height on the route in
  • A flat parking spot on firm ground or hardstanding

Kensal Rise is in London, inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, which covers all of Greater London, and parking can be tight: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we will tell you honestly before you book.

Diets, allergies and planning

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. Our advice:

  • Look into parking permissions if the truck cannot go off-road
  • Add a dietary question to the invitation
  • Share your running order
  • Walk the access route and note narrow gaps

If your timings move, let us know and we will adjust service.

Loaded nachos to share while the first orders cook are a good way to begin.

FAQs for Kensal Rise

What’s the nearest station to Kensal Rise for guests?

Kensal Rise has its own station: Kensal Rise station.

Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of St John the Evangelist?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Can we add drinks?

We bring bar staff with the drinks bar and alcohol-free choices. We’ll talk through licensing first.

Is the food very hot?

The food can be kept mild, with hotter salsas on the side for anyone who wants more heat.

What guest numbers do you cater for?

That depends on your timings and the event. As a guide, it’s around 50 to 400 guests, so tell us your numbers.

Do you do food truck hire for weddings?

The truck or trailer can serve the wedding breakfast, evening food or both. We fit service around your running order. See our food truck wedding guide.

Do you give allergen information?

Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. Under UK rules, caterers must give information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). For severe allergies, please talk to us first.

What if the weather’s bad?

We can keep serving from the truck or trailer in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.

About the menu

Burrito bowls

Bowls suit anyone skipping tortillas.

Loaded nachos

Tortilla chips with cheese, a filling, salsa and guacamole, for sharing.

What happens on the day

We arrive in good time before service, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. Guests come up to order when service opens. A hired food truck at a summer event in Kensal Rise can serve in daylight until about 9:20pm at midsummer, while late September brings sunset forward to around 7:05pm. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so the queue by the hatch needs lighting.

  1. Ask us whether your date is available.
  2. You get a menu for the hatch and a quote.
  3. The spot and the way in are agreed in advance.
  4. On the day, guests order at the hatch and we cook to order.
  5. After service, we close up and leave the spot clear.

Preparing for the day

  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park

Getting a price

Getting a quote is simple: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We’ll send you a clear quote and a suggested menu.
