Food truck hire for West Challow events

About our food truck hire in West Challow

Service is planned around your timings: a set lunch hour, an evening slot or a few hours through a party. Tell us when guests should eat. Popular choices include quesadillas, loaded nachos and tacos from the hatch, and it suits birthday parties and garden parties.

Somewhere as small as West Challow, food truck hire can mean a garden, a field or a barn. Tell us about narrow lanes, gates and long drives. Firm ground matters, especially after rain. You will know what’s included before booking: menu, timings and any add-ons.

Choosing a Mexican caterer

How we price food truck hire

Each event is quoted on its own, and the price depends on a few things:

  • How long we are needed on site
  • Parking and the route in
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • Food, drinks or both

Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

Getting an accurate quote

Good planning starts with a few facts. Try to include:

  • The date and rough timings
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • Roughly how many adults and children

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, along with any dietary needs, and you will get menu ideas and a price. To get started, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

How the day works

On the day, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. Service starts at the time we’ve agreed, planned around your event. Late-September events in West Challow see sunset at about 7:10pm, so a later service will need some lighting. In late May, daylight lasts until about 9:00pm.

  1. Ask us whether your date is available.
  2. You get a menu for the hatch and a quote.
  3. The spot and the way in are agreed in advance.
  4. On the day, guests order at the hatch and we cook to order.
  5. After service, we close up and leave the spot clear.

Getting ready for the day

  • Name one person we can ask on the day
