Food truck hire for your event in Wiggonholt
We serve when you want us to: a lunchtime window, an evening service or a longer slot through a party. Let us know your running order and we will plan around it. We serve burritos, tacos from the hatch and vegan tacos, and it is a good fit for leaving dos and retirements and summer parties at home.
For a rural spot like Wiggonholt, food truck hire needs a little planning: gate widths, soft ground and the route from the road all matter. We confirm power and water arrangements with you. We plan the timings around your day, so service starts when you want it.

FAQs for Wiggonholt
Which station should guests use for Wiggonholt?
Pulborough station, about 1.8 miles north-west of the centre.
Can you bring your truck or trailer to Parham Park?
Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Check with them, and we will provide what they ask for from us.
What space does the truck need?
A firm, level spot, a way in that fits the vehicle, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water are confirmed with each booking.
Can you cater for special diets?
There are vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests. Allergen information is available for every dish.
Do you have vegan options?
Yes, they’re part of the planning from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect, and we will keep their options separate.
Do you provide drinks?
Yes, we do. Our drinks bar can be booked on its own or with food. We’ll check the licensing for alcohol with you.
Can you serve in the rain?
The truck or trailer can serve in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, like a marquee or gazebo.
Do you give allergen information?
Yes. Tell us about allergies when you book. Under UK rules, caterers must give information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). For severe allergies, please talk to us first.
Before you choose a spot
The route in matters as much as the spot itself. We look for:
- Firm, level ground or hardstanding where the truck or trailer can park
- Agreement from the venue to bring in a catering vehicle
- Space in front of the hatch for guests to queue
If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think before booking.
The process
When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. Late-September events in Wiggonholt see sunset at about 7:05pm, so evening service from the truck may run past dusk. A late-May event keeps its light until roughly 8:50pm.
- Tell us the date, the location, rough numbers and any diets.
- We suggest a menu for the hatch and quote for it.
- Where the truck or trailer will stand, the route in, and power and water are all agreed in advance.
- On the day we drive in, set up and serve to order from the hatch.
- After service, we close the hatch, pack down and drive away.
Getting ready for the day
- Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
- Let us know who to talk to on the day
- Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time

Planning help
Catering for every guest
A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Try these:
- Count children separately
- Tell us when guests should eat
- Flag any coeliac guests
- Collect diets and allergies with your RSVPs
At the end of service, we close the hatch and pack down.
Ask about a second service later in the evening.
Should I do it myself?
Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.
A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it is more work than it looks. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Read our guide to taco bars.
