Mexican catering near East End

Taco catering in East End: local tips

East End is about 3 miles north-east of Lymington, in Hampshire. Whether your event is in the middle of East End or on the outskirts, Mexican catering works the same way: fresh service from our truck or trailer, every diet planned for and a clear quote. We cover 683 places across Hampshire, from the larger towns to small villages, wherever the truck or trailer can get in. We cater right across the region, from East End to Southampton (11 miles away).

By rail: Lymington Pier station is about 2.3 miles away. Close to East End are historic houses such as Beaulieu Palace House (3.5 miles north-east). If your event is at a historic house or estate, check its rules on outside caterers and vehicles early. Venues in and around the New Forest National Park, within about 4 miles of East End, sometimes limit where vehicles can go. Ask yours about access for a truck or trailer before you book. With the sea within about 4 miles, a beach-side event might appeal. Promenades and beaches typically need permission, and the truck or trailer has to park on firm ground, not sand.

For Mexican catering in SO41, we plan around your venue and the route in. Streets in the area include Rowes Lane, Norleywood Road and Lymington Road, and an event on any of them can work if the truck or trailer can park nearby. Neighbouring places where we cater events include Norleywood (1 mile north-west), Thorns Beach (2 miles east), Hamstead (4 miles south-east), Cranmore (5 miles south) and Bouldnor (5 miles south). Further out, we also cater in Gosport (15 miles east), Eastleigh (15 miles north-east), Fareham (14 miles north-east), Totton (10 miles north), Chandler's Ford (15 miles north) and Hedge End (13 miles north-east).

A little further out are Yarmouth Castle (4.7 miles south) and Lymington New Forest Hospital (2.7 miles west). Open spaces near East End include Boldre Foreshore.

How our Mexican catering works in East End

Looking for taco catering in East End? Mobile Mexican catering means the kitchen comes to you: we park our food truck or trailer on site and serve hot food from it. No kitchen is needed on site. At company summer parties and big birthday celebrations, we can serve loaded nachos, burrito bowls and fresh salsas and guacamole.

In a hamlet or village like East End, your own garden or a neighbour’s field can make a good venue. Mention gates and soft ground when you contact us. We serve from the hatch of our truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

Your questions about Mexican catering in East End

Can you bring a truck or trailer to venues in the New Forest National Park?

We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.

Could you come to a seaside event near East End?

Yes, with permission for the spot and firm ground for the truck or trailer. Wind, sand and seafront permissions are the main things to plan on the coast.

Do you do a drinks bar?

We can. The drinks bar offers margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and alcohol-free drinks. Licensing is checked with you first.

What do you serve?

Mexican street food and drinks: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Do you have dairy-free options?

We can. Dairy-free options are part of our menus.

When should we book?

As soon as you have a date. Popular dates go first, so it pays to ask early.

How long do you serve for?

We get there well before service to set up. Serving times are agreed with you in advance.

What can we choose from?

Every menu is agreed with you, with fillings such as chicken tinga, carnitas or black beans. Take a look at the sample menu.

For planners, venues and organisers

Planning an event for a club, school or charity in East End? Service from a truck or trailer is quick, even for a crowd, and the menu can suit most diets. Tell us about the event and we’ll suggest a menu.

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we will keep you updated on timings and set-up.

What affects the price in East End

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Guest numbers
  • Serving staff
  • What’s on the menu
  • Food, drinks or both

A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.

Details that help

To check availability and price, we need:

  • The address or venue name
  • What power and water the site has
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • Any dietary needs and allergies

It is easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We’ll send you a clear quote.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Good planning keeps every guest safe and happy. Here’s how:

  • Plan a vegan filling as well as a vegetarian one
  • Collect dietary needs when guests reply
  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Have a covered area ready in case of rain

We work around your timings, and adapt if they move.

Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can be added from our drinks bar, with licensing checked with you.

Is Mexican catering right for your event?

Compared with a hog roast or barbecue, tacos make vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests easier to cater for, thanks to separate fillings and toppings. Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so tell us what you have in mind. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.

Space, access and the venue

Access is the first thing to check for a truck or trailer. We look for:

  • Details of power and water on site, agreed when you book
  • Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first
  • Hardstanding or firm, level ground to park on

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think before you book.

How it works

The truck or trailer needs a level, firm spot with access to drive in, with power and water arrangements agreed beforehand. Send us a picture of the space if you are unsure. A December event in East End will be in the dark from about 4:00pm, so choose a spot where guests can see what they’re ordering. At midsummer, the light holds until around 9:25pm.

  1. It begins with the basics: your date, venue, guest numbers and dietary needs.
  2. We put together a menu around your guests and quote for it.
  3. We check access, power and water with you or the venue.
  4. We arrive, set up and cook to order, with salsas and guacamole made fresh.
  5. Once everyone has eaten, we tidy our serving area and head off.

Getting ready for the day

  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
  • Arrange somewhere covered for guests to eat
