Taco bar hire in Brambridge, served fresh

For a bigger spread, burrito bowls, nachos or quesadillas can sit alongside the tacos. Our drinks bar can be booked with it too, with licensing checked with you. It works well for engagement parties and barn parties, serving pickled onions and toppings, fresh salsas and guacamole.

In a small place like Brambridge, a taco bar might go in a garden, a barn or a nearby hall. If the truck cannot get close, we can set the station up nearer your guests, though we still need to unload within a short walk. You can book food, drinks or both, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

Is taco bar hire right for your event?

Compared with a hog roast or carvery, a taco bar caters for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free guests from one table. Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.

How we price taco bar hire

These are the factors that matter most:

  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • What the venue already provides
  • How many staff you need
  • The menu you choose

Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you choose what goes in.

Getting an accurate quote

Good planning starts with a few facts. Please include:

  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • A photo of the space, if it’s a garden or field
  • The date and time of the event

Not sure what you need yet? No problem: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we’ll make suggestions. To start, use our quote form.

Planning for every diet

A Mexican menu is easy to plan for mixed diets, because options can be kept separate. Here are a few tips for planning:

  • Include a dietary question on your invitations
  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Decide where the table goes before the day
  • Have anyone with a severe allergy speak to us first

We warm tortillas in batches and keep the fillings hot.

Book the truck or trailer for evening food after a daytime taco bar, quoted with the rest.

FAQs for Brambridge

Do you cater in villages like Brambridge?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

Do you set up taco bars indoors in places like Brambridge?

Yes, with the venue’s permission. Tell us about the parking, the doors and the space for the station.

Do you do parties at home?

It depends on access. If the truck or trailer can’t reach the garden, a drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission. Send us a photo and we’ll talk it through.

How many guests can a taco bar serve?

That depends on your timings and the event. Most bookings fall around 50 to 400 guests, so tell us your numbers.

Can guests build their own tacos?

We can. A build-your-own taco bar can be served from the truck or a serving station, with fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings.

How much is a food truck for an event?

We quote for each event, so the price fits what you want. Tell us your date and numbers for a clear quote.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

Please ask us. Tell us what your venue provides, and we’ll confirm what’s included with your quote.

Does the taco bar need the truck on site?

It can go beside the truck or trailer, or somewhere a vehicle cannot reach. Either way, we need to unload nearby and have the venue’s permission.

How it works

When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. In Brambridge, the sun sets at about 9:25pm in late June and about 7:10pm in late September, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 4:00pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.

  1. Contact us with your date and headcount.
  2. We plan fillings and toppings around your guests’ diets.
  3. Nearer the date, we confirm timings and the serving spot.
  4. Service starts when your running order says.
  5. We clear our station when service ends.

Preparing for the day

  • Tell us when you want service to start
  • Ask the venue about power and water
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
