Taco bar hire for Hambledon events

How our taco bar hire works in Hambledon

The taco bar works for a wedding breakfast, a party or a working lunch. Building your own is quick, which keeps the line moving. At wedding evening food and company parties, we’ll put together a menu of pickled onions and toppings, warm corn and flour tortillas and burrito bowls for your guests.

Near Hambledon, a taco bar next to the truck in a field or garden works well. Tell us about gates, ground and the distance from the lane, and we confirm power and water arrangements before the day. We turn up ready to serve, and tidy our own area afterwards.

Events we cater in Hambledon

You are not limited to places a truck can park, such as a courtyard, a barn or a hall, with the venue’s agreement.

A truck or trailer works for big and small events alike. Common bookings include:

  • Team socials
  • Wedding meals
  • Marquee parties
  • Birthday parties

When the service is at a church such as Church of St Peter and St Paul, the taco bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church.

Before booking anyone

  • Allergen information for each dish
  • Payment terms and deposit
  • How many staff are serving, and for how long
  • When final numbers are due

Planning for every diet

Mixed diets are straightforward to plan for, because options can be kept separate. A few tips:

  • Make sure guests have somewhere to sit
  • Ask guests about diets and allergies on the RSVP
  • Count children separately
  • Put allergies in writing for us

After the last plate, we take the bar down.

Extra salsas, from mild to hot, let guests choose their own heat.

What taco bar hire costs

Every event is priced individually, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • Travel, parking and access
  • Whether you need disposables
  • How many staff you need

The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, since the set-up is much the same either way. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.

Getting an accurate quote

The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Please include:

  • The address or venue name
  • Expected numbers
  • The date and time of the event
  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both

Each quote is tailored to your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we’ll check availability at the same time.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
