Taco bar hire near Hazel Street

About our taco bar hire in Hazel Street

The bar can stand beside our food truck or trailer, or on its own. If the truck can’t get to the spot, we park close by, unload and carry the bar in, as long as the venue agrees. Popular choices include slow-cooked fillings kept hot, guacamole and a build-your-own taco bar, which works well for working lunches and engagement parties.

Near Hazel Street, a marquee or barn makes a good home for a taco bar. Our staff set up the station and run it through service; tell us about access and parking. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included, and we give allergen information for every dish.

Choosing a Mexican caterer

DIY taco night or a caterer?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Read our guide to taco bars.

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

How it works

It’s a relaxed, well-organised set-up. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, get the serving area ready, and get on with serving. In Hazel Street, the sun sets at about 9:15pm in late June and about 7:00pm in late September, so an outdoor taco bar in summer is generally served in daylight. For winter events, dark by about 3:55pm, plan good lighting over the station.

  1. Send us the date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we choose what goes on the bar.
  3. We confirm the table spot and where we will unload.
  4. Our staff set out the bar and guests build their own tacos.
  5. We clear the bar away after service.

Before we arrive

  • Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer
  • Tell us what power and water the site has
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely

How to get a price

Not sure what you need yet? That is fine: give us the basics about your event, and we’ll make suggestions. When you’re ready, fill in our quote form.

Your questions about taco bar hire in Hazel Street

Could you serve our guests after a service at Church of St Margaret?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Do you set up taco bars indoors in places like Hazel Street?

Yes, with the venue’s permission. We need a short route from where we park to the room, and space for the station and a queue.

Who clears up?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Tell us the venue’s rules on waste and clearing up and we’ll confirm the arrangements with your quote.

Does the taco bar need the truck on site?

The taco bar can be served from a table or station away from the truck. We still need to park our vehicle nearby to unload, and the venue’s agreement.

Do you provide drinks?

Yes, we do. Our drinks bar can be booked on its own or with food. For alcohol, we will talk licensing through with you and your venue.

Can you plan for allergies?

Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

Are plates and napkins included?

That is confirmed with each quote. Let us know what the venue supplies.

What if the weather’s bad?

Rain doesn’t normally stop service from the truck or trailer. Plan cover for guests, such as a marquee or gazebo, and tell us if heavy rain could make the ground soft.

Diets, allergies and planning

We take diets and allergies seriously. Help us by following these steps:

  • Confirm any allergies to us by email
  • Choose at least one vegan filling
  • Have anyone with a severe allergy speak to us first
  • Ask guests about diets and allergies on the RSVP

Each dish is labelled, and allergen information is kept at the bar.

Extra salsas, from mild to hot, let guests choose their own heat.

Planners, venues and businesses

If you are booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll explain how it works. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we’ll work to it.

What we need at the venue

We will agree the spot with you before the day. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:

  • Room for the bar alongside the vehicle, if booked together
  • A level area for the taco-bar table
  • Space for a line of guests at the bar

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.
