Taco bar hire in Marley

How our taco bar hire works in Marley

Toppings make the bar: pickled onions, coriander, lime, shredded lettuce and cheese. It suits birthday celebrations and barn and marquee parties, serving pickled onions and toppings, fresh salsas and warm corn and flour tortillas.

For a rural spot like Marley, a taco bar beside the truck in a field or garden is a simple set-up. Tell us about gates, ground and the distance from the lane, and we confirm power and water arrangements before the day. We serve from the hatch of our food truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan the service around your numbers.

Working with your venue

Throwing a party at home? Send us a photo of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we will tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.

Taco bars for events around Marley

Marley is about 5 miles south-east of Canterbury, in Kent. Wherever your event is in the CT4 area, we can bring the truck or trailer to you, as long as there is access. We cater in 922 places across Kent, from the larger towns to small villages.

For guests coming by train, the nearest station is Snowdown station, about 3.5 miles east. Parks such as Jumping Downs generally need the owner’s agreement for catering, even without a truck on the grass, so ask before you plan. Marley is within about 4 miles of the Kent Downs National Landscape, with barns and country venues that could host a taco bar. Where vehicles can’t reach the room, the station can be set up there with the venue’s agreement, but we still need to unload close by.

We cater events across the CT4 postcode area and the streets around it. Your event could be at a home on Marley Lane and Covet Lane. Close by, we cover events in Kingston (1 mile north-east), Heart's Delight (1 mile south-east), Out Elmstead (1 mile east), Barham (1 mile east) and Derringstone (1 mile south-east). Larger places within reach include Ashford (13 miles south-west), Canterbury (5 miles north-west), Dover (9 miles south-east), Folkestone (9 miles south), Ramsgate (15 miles north-east) and Whitstable (11 miles north-west).

  • Your choice of food and drinks

  • Distance and access to the venue
  • How long we are needed on site

Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you choose what goes in.

What happens on the day

When we arrive, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. Service starts at the time we have agreed, so everything runs to your schedule. A December taco bar in Marley will be in the dark from about 3:50pm, so set the station up where the lighting is good. At midsummer, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:15pm.

  2. We plan fillings and toppings around your guests’ diets.
