Taco bar hire in North Newington, from our food truck or trailer

We can serve the taco bar next to the truck or trailer, or as a separate station. Where a vehicle cannot reach the serving spot, we unload nearby and set the table up there, with the venue’s agreement. It suits birthday celebrations and team socials, with guacamole, fresh salsas and slow-cooked fillings kept hot.

Somewhere as small as North Newington, a garden, barn or hall can host a taco bar. If lanes or soft ground stop the truck getting close, the station can be set up nearer your guests, as long as we can unload within a short walk. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so one caterer can cover more of the day.

How the day works

Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. In North Newington, the sun sets at about 9:30pm in late June and about 7:10pm in late September, so an outdoor taco bar in summer is generally served in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.

  1. Start with your date, venue and guest numbers.
  2. We plan the fillings, salsas and toppings with you.
  3. The venue confirms where the bar goes and where we park.
  4. On the day, guests help themselves while we keep the bar stocked.
  5. When everyone has eaten, we pack up.

Before we arrive

  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
  • Tell us what power and water the site has
  • Let us know who to talk to on the day

How we price taco bar hire

Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:

  • How many staff you need
  • Timings and hours
  • Whether you need disposables
  • Your choice of food and drinks

Larger events can cost less per head, since the set-up is much the same either way. Give us your numbers and we will quote.

Getting an accurate quote

Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:

  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • The venue or postcode
  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both

Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you actually want. To ask for one, send us your details through our quote form.

Space, access and the venue

We’ll be honest if a space won’t work. The main points are:

  • Room for guests to queue along the table
  • Somewhere close by for our vehicle to park and unload
  • Easy access from where we unload to the table

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we’ll tell you honestly.

Menu ideas

  • Pickled onions and toppings
  • Tortilla chips

Diets, allergies and planning

A Mexican menu is easy to plan for mixed diets, because options can be kept separate. Here are a few tips for planning:

  • Ask guests with severe allergies to contact us before the day
  • Give us separate numbers for children
  • Check where our vehicle can unload
  • Set out seating near the bar

If speeches or timings run over, we keep the fillings hot and start when you’re ready.

Nachos to share can keep guests going before the bar opens.
