Taco bar hire in Wytham

Taco bar hire in Wytham, served fresh

We can serve the taco bar next to the truck or trailer, or as a separate station. Where a vehicle cannot reach the serving spot, we unload nearby and set the table up there, with the venue’s agreement. For milestone birthdays and family get-togethers, we can serve warm corn and flour tortillas, fresh salsas and guacamole.

Near Wytham, a taco bar next to the truck in a field or garden works well. Let us know about the gate, the ground and the route in, and we confirm power and water arrangements before the day. Guests are served from our food truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

Your questions about taco bar hire in Wytham

What’s the nearest station to Wytham for guests?

The closest is Oxford Parkway station, roughly 2.4 miles away.

Do you come out to small places like Wytham?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

Can you cater for children?

Yes, children are easy to plan for. Tell us how many and roughly how old, and we will plan the menu with them in mind.

Do you provide allergen information for each dish?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, with allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we cannot promise a dish is allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.

How much is a food truck for an event?

Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you want. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas and we will reply with a quote.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Our truck and trailer service usually suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Send us your numbers and we will advise.

Is the food made fresh?

We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. The tortillas are warmed on site, and the salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

Does the taco bar need the truck on site?

The taco bar can be served from a table or station away from the truck. We still need somewhere close to unload our vehicle, and the venue has to agree.

Step by step

We get there well before you want to serve, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. Guests come up to order when service opens. Daylight in Wytham runs to about 9:00pm in late May and 7:10pm in late September. Let us know if an outdoor station will run after dark, and we will talk about lighting.

  1. Tell us about your event and your guests.
  2. We send a sample spread and a quote.
  3. Access, power and water are agreed beforehand.
  4. We arrive, unload and lay out warm tortillas, fillings and toppings.
  5. Afterwards, we pack down and leave the area tidy.

Planning the serving area

Before the day, we will agree where we park and serve. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • Shelter from rain and sun for an outdoor bar
  • A clear area in front of the station
  • A clear route from the vehicle to the serving spot

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think.

What we offer

  • Tortilla chips
  • Vegan fillings
  • Corn and flour tortillas
  • Pickled onions and toppings
  • Two to four fillings
  • Salsas and guacamole

Catering for every guest

We take diets and allergies seriously. Help us by following these steps:

  • Ask guests with severe allergies to contact us before the day
  • Make sure one filling is vegan
  • Have tables and seats ready for guests to eat at
  • Confirm a loading spot close to the bar

After the last plate, we take the bar down, then load our vehicle.

Ask us whether a second station would help with big numbers.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

Comparing your options

Compared with a hog roast or carvery, a taco bar caters for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free guests from one table. There is no one-size-fits-all price for taco bar hire. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Contact us for a quote.

What you get with us

How we price taco bar hire

Your quote will be clear. The main things that affect it are:

  • Staff for serving and the bar
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • Travel, parking and access

Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, along with extras and where your event is. We quote for each event individually.

Getting an accurate quote

For a quote, it helps to have:

  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • A picture of where we’d park
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • The address or venue name

Getting a quote is simple: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We’ll send you a clear quote and a suggested menu.
