Food truck hire for your event in Eastcote

You could pick fillings such as chicken tinga, carnitas or beef birria, with vegan choices like black bean and sweet potato. We plan for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free diets. Popular choices include burrito bowls, quesadillas and tacos from the hatch, which works well for big birthdays and client events and product launches.

In Eastcote, a yard, forecourt or car park can suit a hired food truck. We need a level spot and room for a queue at the hatch, plus your venue’s agreement. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included, with allergen information for everything we serve.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Prices and what affects them

These are the factors that matter most:

  • How long we are needed on site
  • Whether you need disposables
  • Serving staff
  • Food, drinks or both

Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you choose what goes in.

Getting an accurate quote

Good planning starts with a few facts. Try to include:

  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • A picture of the space, if it’s a garden or field
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • The date and rough timings

A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: venue, timings, menu ideas and access. To send your details, tell us about it on our contact page.

Is food truck hire right for your event?

A marquee kitchen with plated service needs more space, more staff and more time. Our food truck or trailer brings the kitchen and serves from one hatch, needing level ground, access and the venue’s permission. A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, because it needs no venue kitchen. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Before you choose a spot

We will agree the spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • A spot away from neighbours
  • Somewhere for guests to sit or stand and eat
  • Space in front of the hatch for guests to queue

Eastcote is in London, inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, which covers all of Greater London, and parking can be tight: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly.

Eastcote questions

Can we hire your food truck for an event at home in Eastcote?

A drive, a courtyard or a suspended bay can all work, depending on your street. Guests order at the hatch, so we also need room for a queue, and all of Greater London is inside the ULEZ.

What’s the nearest station to Eastcote for guests?

Headstone Lane station, about 1.9 miles north-east of the centre.

What happens if it rains?

We can serve from the hatch in the rain. It’s worth planning a covered area for guests, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

Do you bring plates and cutlery?

We confirm that with your quote. Let us know what the venue supplies.

Do you cater for dietary needs?

We plan gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests. Allergen information is available for every dish.

Do you have gluten-free options?

Yes, with corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we check every dish and give allergen information.

Do you give allergen information?

Yes. Tell us about allergies when you book. Under UK rules, caterers must give information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

Can you do dairy-free food?

Yes. We offer dairy-free options.

About the menu

Quesadillas

Toasted tortillas with melted cheese and a filling, cut into wedges.

Loaded nachos

Tortilla chips with cheese, a filling, salsa and guacamole, for sharing.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Every guest is catered for, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free included. To make it work smoothly:

  • Count children separately
  • Confirm the venue accepts outside caterers and vehicles
  • Let us know who is coeliac
  • Guests with serious allergies should contact us first

Service starts when your timings say, and we cook each order as it comes.

A taco-bar station can sit next to the truck.

The process

The truck or trailer needs a level, firm spot with access to drive in, and we agree power and water arrangements before the day. Send us a picture of the space if you’re unsure. A Christmas party in Eastcote with a hired food truck will be in the dark from about 3:55pm, so ask the venue about outdoor lighting where we’ll park. In late June, it stays light until about 9:25pm.

  1. Ask us whether your date is available.
  2. We agree a hatch menu and send a quote.
  3. The spot and the way in are agreed in advance.
  4. We drive in, open the hatch and serve your guests.
  5. We pack down and drive away when service ends.

Before we arrive

  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day
  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
