How we price Mexican bar hire
We quote for your event, which reflects:
- Distance and access to the venue
- Staff for serving and the bar
- Whether you need disposables
- The number of people
The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Give us your numbers and we will quote.
What we need to know

- The address or venue name
- Expected numbers

- A picture of where we’d park
The quickest way to a quote is to use our quote form. Give us the details of your event, and we’ll suggest a menu to suit.

- Where to see their hygiene rating
- The deposit and payment dates
- If the price includes VAT
- How long the service runs
Planning the serving area
Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but there are a few things to check:
- A bar spot away from homes
- Level, firm ground for the bar set-up
- The right licence for alcohol: the venue’s licence or a Temporary Event Notice
As a London location, Eastfields is inside the ULEZ, and parking and loading take planning: tell us about parking bays, permits, a driveway or whether a parking suspension is needed.
Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly before booking.
What we offer
- Agua de jamaica (hibiscus)
- Fruit aguas frescas
- Margaritas

For event organisers in Eastfields
For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can plan ahead.
If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We’ll provide the information the landowner or council asks for from us.
How it compares
A standard bar is fine, but margaritas and aguas frescas give the bar character. What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

The process
It’s a relaxed, well-organised set-up. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, set up our truck or trailer, and serve without fuss. A summer drinks reception in Eastfields has daylight until about 9:20pm at midsummer, so evening drinks can be served in daylight. In late September it’s dark around 7:05pm, and in December by about 3:55pm, so evening bars need lighting.
- You tell us the date, venue, guest numbers and the drinks you have in mind.
- Together we check how alcohol will be licensed at your event.
- You get a suggested drinks menu and a quote.
- We arrive, set up and serve margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.
- When the bar closes, we pack down and clear our area.
Before we arrive
- Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer
- Name one person we can ask on the day
- Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely

FAQs for Eastfields
We are having a ceremony at St. Mark's Church: can you cater afterwards?
Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.
What’s the nearest station to Eastfields for guests?
Guests can use Mitcham Eastfields station, which is right in Eastfields.
What about power on site?
Let us know what’s available on site, for instance a supply from the venue, and we’ll confirm the arrangements with your quote.
How is the food prepared?
We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. The tortillas are warmed on site, and the salsas and guacamole are made fresh.
Do you do parties at home?
That depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Tell us about the space and we will advise.
How many guests can you serve?
Truck and trailer service normally suits around 50 to 400 guests. Smaller parties are quoted case by case, and festivals can be larger. Send us your numbers and we’ll advise.
How long do you serve for?
We arrive in good time to set up before service. Serving times are agreed with you in advance, along with pack-down.
Will someone run the bar?
Bar staff are part of the service.
DIY taco night or a caterer?
Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.
Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Contact us for a quote to compare.
