About our Mexican bar hire in The Valley

Aguas frescas are light, fruity drinks: hibiscus agua de jamaica, horchata, tamarind and fruit waters. They’re alcohol-free, so every guest can enjoy them. We serve soft drinks, alcohol-free drinks and agua de jamaica, and it is a good fit for fairs and community events and launch parties.

For a country party near The Valley, a drinks bar in a garden or field sets the mood. Tell us about the ground, gates, power and water. Timings are planned around your event, so service starts when you want it.

The Valley: venues, access and licensing

The Valley is about 6 miles south-west of Faversham, in Kent. Give us the address of your event in The Valley, and we will plan access and set-up before the day. We serve in all 922 towns and villages in Kent. You can also see our page for Canterbury, about 12 miles away.

If the service is at a church such as Church of St Lawrence, the bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church. For a drinks-led event, rail details help, and the nearest station is Charing station, about 3.2 miles south. An outdoor bar near the Kent Downs National Landscape, within about 8 miles of The Valley, needs firm ground and a way in, plus the right licensing, which we’ll check with you.

Mexican bar hire in ME13 is planned around your venue and access and timings. If your venue is just outside The Valley, we also cover Stalisfield Green (1 mile south), Stalisfield (1 mile south), Eastling (2 miles north), Throwley Forstal (2 miles east) and Throwley (2 miles north-east). Further out, we also cater in Maidstone (12 miles west), Ashford (8 miles south), Canterbury (12 miles east), Sittingbourne (7 miles north-west), Whitstable (12 miles north-east) and Faversham (6 miles north-east).

Other landmarks nearby include Newnham Castle (2.3 miles north).

Planning the bar

Some planning tips for the drinks:

  • Make sure there’s water for guests
  • Give the council notice in good time for a Temporary Event Notice
  • Let us know how many non-drinkers to expect
  • Ensure drivers have good choices

We adapt if the timings shift.

Soft drinks for drivers.

Step by step

Here’s how the day typically runs: we park up and get ready, we open the hatch when you are ready, and we serve your guests fresh until service ends. By late September, sunset in The Valley comes at roughly 7:00pm, so margaritas after that will be served under lights. A late-May event keeps its daylight until about 8:45pm.

  1. Send us the date, venue and numbers.
  2. We talk through licensing with you.
  3. You choose the drinks with us.
  4. We serve drinks responsibly on the day.
  5. We clear the bar at the end.

Before we arrive

  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Ask the venue about power and water
  • Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer

How to get a price

To get a price, just tell us about it on our contact page. Give us the details of your event, and we’ll put together a menu and price.

FAQs for The Valley

How far is The Valley from central London?

It is about 42 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Can you bring a truck or trailer to venues in the Kent Downs National Landscape?

We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.

When do you arrive?

That depends on your event and menu. Timings are agreed in advance to suit your day.

What do you serve?

Mexican street food: tacos and build-your-own taco bars, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas, plus salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

How much does Mexican bar hire cost in The Valley?

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually need. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas and we will reply with a quote.

Do you need electricity?

That depends on the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Tell us what’s available at your venue.

Which areas do you serve?

We cover London and the South East, including Kent. See all areas.

Can you cater for guests who avoid dairy?

Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need dairy-free food, and we will plan the menu around them.

Popular choices

Margaritas

Tequila, lime and orange liqueur over ice.

Soft drinks

Soft drinks alongside the rest.

Mexican bar hire or something else?

Running your own bar means checking licensing, stock and staff yourself. We will go through the licensing with you and bring bar staff. Extras, such as more dishes, extra drinks or a longer service, are quoted on request, so you choose what goes in.

Why book with us

  • Access, space and power checked in advance
  • Allergen-aware menus
  • Service planned around your numbers
  • A truck or trailer that comes to you

Read how we price and the cost guide.

Should I do it myself?

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.
