The hatch opens at the time you choose, and we cook each order as it comes.

Ask about a second service later in the evening, quoted with the main booking.

About our food truck hire in Great Burgh

You choose the hatch menu with us: tacos and burritos, with bowls, nachos or quesadillas if you like, with fresh salsas and guacamole. For client events and product launches and birthday parties, we can serve tacos from the hatch, burritos and vegan tacos.

In and around Great Burgh, our truck or trailer can work at home, in a field or at a hall. If the road in is narrow or the ground soft, tell us so we can plan. We prepare everything fresh for your event and serve it straight from our truck or trailer.

Questions from Great Burgh

Which station should guests use for Great Burgh?

Guests can use Tattenham Corner station, which is right in Great Burgh.

Is Great Burgh close to London?

Roughly 14 miles from the centre of London, and we cover it.

How soon do we need to book?

As soon as you have a date. Popular dates go first, so get in touch early.

Do you offer a bar with the truck?

Our Mexican drinks bar can be added to a truck booking, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. We’ll talk licensing through with you.

How spicy is the food?

We can keep it mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.

Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?

We can. A build-your-own taco bar can be served from the truck or a serving station, with fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings.

Where can the truck park?

Send us the address and a description of the spot, and we will check the access. There’s more in our space and power guide.

How much does food truck hire cost in Great Burgh?

It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the length of service and the location. Contact us for a quote.

How it compares

Most guests have seen a burger van. Tacos and burritos from a truck feel different. Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.

For planners, venues and organisers

Hosting a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about access, and we will tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

If you’re organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we’ll work directly with you and the venue. It keeps things simple.

The process

We work to your timings. If speeches run late or the photos take longer, let us know and we’ll adjust where we can. At midsummer, it stays light in Great Burgh until about 9:20pm, and by late September sunset is about 7:05pm. For winter events, dark by about 3:55pm, plan lighting where guests queue at the hatch.

  1. Share your plans for the event.
  2. We suggest fillings and dishes for every diet.
  3. Power, water and timings are agreed with you or the venue.
  4. Service runs at the times you choose.
  5. Once service ends, we tidy up and go.

How to prepare

  • Let us know who to talk to on the day
  • Tell us when you want service to start
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
