The process

On the day, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. Service starts at the time we’ve agreed, so everything runs to your schedule. Christmas markets in Rochester trade in the dark from about 3:50pm, so a lit pitch helps visitors find the truck. At midsummer, daylight lasts until roughly 9:20pm.

  1. Send us your event details and pitch information.
  2. We send our menu, needs and the documents you ask for.
  3. We set up in the agreed window.
  4. We serve to order through the event.
  5. We pack down and tidy the pitch.

Getting ready for the day

  • Ask the venue about power and water
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain

What affects the price in Rochester

Every event is priced individually, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Whether you need disposables
  • The menu you choose
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • Staff for serving and the bar

The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.
