  • Your choice of food and drinks

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.

Should I do it myself?

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

The process

When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. At midsummer, events in The City stay light until about 9:25pm, which helps evening trading. For winter markets, dark by about 3:55pm, the pitch needs lighting.

  1. Tell us about the event, the crowd and the pitch.
  2. You get our menu and pitch requirements.
  3. Power, water and access are agreed in advance.
  4. We plan to be ready for the lunchtime rush.
  5. At close, we pack down and tidy up.

How to prepare

  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Find out what power and water are available
