Taco bar hire near Bramley

FAQs for Bramley

Could you serve our guests after a service at Church of St James?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Which station is closest to Bramley?

Guests can use Bramley (Hants) station, which is right in Bramley.

How is the food prepared?

Food is cooked to order in our food truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Fillings are slow-cooked beforehand and finished on site.

Who clears up?

We clear our own area when service is finished. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

Please ask us. Tell us what your venue provides, and we’ll confirm what’s included with your quote.

Is the taco bar staffed?

We run the station ourselves, so you don’t need helpers. When service ends, we clear it away.

How does taco bar hire work?

Each guest builds tacos from the fillings, salsas and toppings laid out. We run the bar from set-up to pack-down.

What’s on the menu?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings might include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria and vegan options such as spiced mushrooms or black beans. Our sample menu has more ideas.

About our taco bar hire in Bramley

We can serve the taco bar next to the truck or trailer, or as a separate station. If the truck cannot get to the spot, we park close by, unload and carry the bar in, as long as the venue agrees. It works well for wedding meals and leaving and retirement parties, with guacamole, slow-cooked fillings kept hot and warm corn and flour tortillas.

In a smaller place like Bramley, a taco bar in your garden or a local hall keeps things simple. We set up and run the station, and guests choose their own fillings and toppings. Tell us where we can park and unload. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

How the day works

On the day, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. We’re ready to serve at the agreed time, planned around your event. In Bramley, the sun sets at about 9:25pm in late June and about 7:10pm in late September, so a summer taco bar outside normally runs in daylight. In December it is dark by about 4:00pm, so guests will need light to see the fillings and toppings.

  1. Send us your date, where the taco bar will go, numbers and dietary needs.
  2. You get a suggested taco-bar spread and a quote.
  3. Together we fix the spot for the taco bar and a nearby place for our vehicle.
  4. Our staff set up the station, keep the fillings hot and top up the bar through service.
  5. Once guests have eaten, we take down the bar and leave the spot tidy.

Before we arrive

  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve

Should I do it myself?

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Read our guide to taco bars.

Allergies and diets are taken seriously. Help us by following these steps:

  • Count children separately
