Taco bar hire near Bridge

Taco bar hire in Bridge, served fresh

Our truck and trailer service normally suits around 50 to 400 guests, while smaller parties are quoted case by case. Share your headcount and we’ll size the taco bar to match. For back-garden gatherings and barn parties, we will put together a menu of a build-your-own taco bar, guacamole and burrito bowls.

For a rural spot like Bridge, a taco bar beside the truck in a field or garden is a simple set-up. Tell us about gates, ground and the distance from the lane, and we’ll confirm power and water with you. Timings are planned around your event, so service starts when you want it.

Prices and what affects them

Each event is quoted on its own, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Parking and the route in
  • The menu you choose
  • Guest numbers
  • Plates, napkins and cutlery

Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so share your ideas with us. We will suggest options to suit your budget.

To speed things up, tell us:

  • Any dietary needs and allergies

  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • What you’d like on the menu

We quote for each event separately, so the price fits what you actually want. For a quote, use our quote form.

Taco bar hire or something else?

Pizza is a safe choice, but a taco bar lets every guest design their own plate. When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we will set out what’s included.

Why book Mobile Mexican Catering in Bridge

  • Events in Bridge and across Kent
  • Fast service, even with a queue
  • A quote that sets out what’s included
  • Allergen information for everything we serve

Can I do a taco night myself?

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it is more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

Occasions we cater for in Bridge

It feels relaxed without being scruffy, with our staff keeping the table stocked and neat.

Whatever the occasion, the serving truck can be a highlight. We are happy to cater:

  • Summer garden parties
  • Birthday parties
  • Team lunches
  • Leaving and retirement parties

If you’re celebrating after a service at a church like Church of St Peter, a hall close by could host a staffed taco bar, with the venue’s permission.

  • If the price includes VAT
  • How many staff are serving, and for how long
  • Allergen information for each dish
  • Exactly what’s included in the price

Questions to ask before booking

How it works

Here’s how the day usually runs: we park up and get ready, we open the hatch when you are ready, and we serve your guests fresh until service ends. Daylight in Bridge runs to about 8:45pm in late May and 7:00pm in late September. If the taco bar is outdoors and runs later, tell us what lighting the venue has.

  1. Start with your date, venue and guest numbers.
  2. Together we choose what goes on the bar.
  3. The venue confirms where the bar goes and where we park.
  4. On the day, guests help themselves while we keep the bar stocked.
  5. We clear the bar away after service.

Getting ready for the day

  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day
  • Share the running order, including any speeches

Bridge questions

Do you cater in the Kent Downs National Landscape?

We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.

Which station is closest to Bridge?

Guests can use Bekesbourne station, about 1.2 miles north-east of Bridge.

When should we book?

Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Ask about your date even if it is soon.

Can you keep it mild?

We can keep it mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.

What does taco bar hire cost?

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually need. Tell us your date and numbers and we’ll reply with a quote.

Do you cook on site?

Food is cooked to order in our truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Fillings are slow-cooked beforehand and finished on site.

Do you have gluten-free options?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

Do you provide allergen information for each dish?

Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, and give allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we can’t promise a dish is allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
