Taco bar hire for Cutteslowe events
Taco bar hire in Cutteslowe, from our food truck or trailer
Taco bars suit wedding breakfasts, parties and office lunches alike. Building your own is quick, which keeps the line moving. It suits birthday parties and wedding evening food, with burrito bowls, a build-your-own taco bar and warm corn and flour tortillas.
In a smaller place like Cutteslowe, a taco bar in your garden or a local hall keeps things simple. We set up and run the station, and guests choose their own fillings and toppings. Tell us where we can park and unload. Timings are planned around your event, so service starts when you want it.

We get there early enough to unload, lay out the table and heat everything through.
Burrito bowls sit well on the bar for anyone avoiding tortillas.

Cutteslowe questions
Which station is closest to Cutteslowe?
Guests can use Oxford Parkway station, about 1 mile north of Cutteslowe.
Is Cutteslowe close to London?
It is about 54 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.
What does a taco bar cost?
There is no price list, because no two events are the same. Share your plans and you’ll get a quote. Our guide to Mexican catering costs may help.
Do you take everything away?
We clear our own area when service is finished. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.
What access do you need?
Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, plus the venue’s permission. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.
What space does a taco bar need?
A level spot for the serving table, room to queue and somewhere close to unload our vehicle. We confirm power and water when you book.
What about power on site?
It depends on the event and the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Let us know whether there’s a supply near where we will park.
Can you serve in the rain?
Rain does not generally stop service from the truck or trailer. It’s worth planning a covered area for guests, and tell us if heavy rain could make the ground soft.
Where the truck can go in Cutteslowe
Access is the first thing to check for a truck or trailer. We look for:
- A clear route from the vehicle to the serving spot
- The venue’s agreement for the taco bar and our vehicle
- Shelter from rain and sun for an outdoor bar
If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think.
Popular choices
- Pickled onions and toppings
- Corn and flour tortillas
- Tortilla chips
- Vegan fillings
- Two to four fillings
- Salsas and guacamole

What to tell us
The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Try to include:
- Your date and when you want service to start
- The venue or postcode
- Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
- Diets and allergies you know about
Not sure what you need yet? That is fine: tell us about the occasion and the guests, and we will suggest a menu. To start, tell us about it on our contact page.
How the day works
We arrive in good time before service, then set up and prepare everything. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. Around midsummer it stays light in Cutteslowe until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:10pm, so an outdoor taco bar in summer is usually served in daylight. For winter events, dark by about 3:55pm, plan good lighting over the station.
- Start with the essentials: the date, venue, headcount and diets.
- You get a suggested taco-bar spread and a quote.
- Before the day, we confirm the serving spot, unloading, power and water with the venue.
- On the day our staff lay out the bar and keep it stocked while guests build their tacos.
- After the last tacos, we clear the station away.
Getting ready for the day
- Share the running order, including any speeches
- Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
- Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
How to get a price
It is easy to get a price: share your date, venue, numbers and diets. We will send you a clear quote and a suggested menu.
Planning help
Should I do it myself?
Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.
Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.
Events we cater in Cutteslowe
A taco bar feeds a crowd steadily.
A truck or trailer works for big and small events alike. Typical bookings include:
- Garden parties
- Anniversary parties
- Company parties
- Barn parties
When the service is at a church such as Roman Catholic Church of St Gregory and St Augustine, the taco bar would be set up at the reception venue rather than the church.
Questions to ask before you book
- Plates and napkins, or nothing at all
- Payment terms and deposit
- What the price includes, item by item
- Whether travel is included
Is taco bar hire right for your event?
Next to a hog roast or carvery, a taco bar handles vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests without separate plates. What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.
What you get with us
