Taco bar hire for your event in East End

Our staff set up the taco bar and look after it through service: warming tortillas, keeping fillings hot and refilling the salsas as they go. Nobody from your side needs to lift a spoon. On the menu are burrito bowls, a build-your-own taco bar and slow-cooked fillings kept hot, and it’s a good fit for garden parties and christenings and family parties.

In a small place like East End, a taco bar might go in a garden, a barn or a nearby hall. If the truck cannot get close, we can set the station up nearer your guests, as long as we can unload within a short walk. Your quote sets out what’s included: menu, timings and any add-ons.

What happens on the day

Service is quick and friendly: we serve from the hatch or a serving station, so a crowd is looked after quickly. When service ends, we pack down. Daylight in East End runs to about 9:00pm in late May and 7:10pm in late September. Let us know if an outdoor station will run after dark, and we will talk about lighting.

  1. Start with the essentials: the date, venue, headcount and diets.
  2. We plan the fillings and toppings with you and quote for them.
  3. Together we fix the spot for the taco bar and a nearby place for our vehicle.
  4. We set out warm tortillas, hot fillings, salsas and toppings, and guests help themselves.
  5. Once guests have eaten, we take down the bar and leave the spot tidy.

Getting ready for the day

  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Arrange somewhere covered for guests to eat

What taco bar hire costs

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:

  • How many staff you need
  • The menu you choose
  • What the venue already provides
  • Guest numbers

Larger events can cost less per head, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.

Details that help

To speed things up, tell us:

  • Where the event is
  • Your date and when you want service to start
  • What you’d like on the menu
  • How we drive in and where we can park

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you need. To ask for one, send a quick message through our quote form.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Good planning keeps every guest safe and happy. Try these:

  • Tell us about coeliac guests specifically
  • Give us separate numbers for children
  • Set out seating near the bar
  • Put allergies in writing for us

If speeches or timings run over, we keep the fillings hot and start when you are ready.

For larger groups, ask about a second serving point.

Planners, venues and businesses

For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so guests are looked after quickly. Let us know how long the break is.

Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll explain how it works. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.

FAQs for East End

Do you come out to small places like East End?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

Can you cater a reception after a service at St Mary's Church?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.

How is the food prepared?

We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. Tortillas are warmed on site, and salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

Can you run a bar?

Yes, we offer a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. Your venue or event may need the right licence for alcohol, so we will check the licensing with you.

Is the food suitable for children?

Yes, children are easy to plan for. Let us know numbers and ages, and we’ll plan the menu with them in mind.

Is the taco bar staffed?

The taco bar is served from a table or station by our staff, so your hosts don’t need to. We pack it away afterwards.

How big an event can you cater?

Our truck and trailer service generally suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Send us your numbers and we will advise.

Do you need power and water?

Tell us what the site has, such as a supply from the venue near where we’ll park, and we will confirm what we need with your quote.

How it compares

If you want food that feels sociable but still well run, a taco bar suits events well. Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, because it needs no venue kitchen. Ask us for a quote.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.
